How quickly you recover depends partly which approach they take. In an anterior approach they don't cut muscles, in a posterior approach they do. I had posterior approach so my glutes aren't friends with the rest of me yet! If you are older or have more body than you should, they tend to use the posterior approach as they can see what they're doing better. I've stopped looking on internet as realised a lot of people on forums are younger and had anterior approach. You know " I was climbing Mt Washington 3 weeks after surgery and running a marathon...."😂
