LibreOffice Calc

Purchased Office 2019 outright when it was released. Previously on Office 2003 for 16 years as I used it for small business. Don't do subscriptions for anything.

It partly depends on how complicated your finances are and how closely you want to keep track. I started out with Excel but moved on to MS Money when the number of accounts and particularly keeping track of investments became too unwieldy for me.
