Luckily had ordered mine and got it delivered on the Friday just before all this kicked off, prices have doubled but I had been keeping an eye on . Highly recommend this site as it’s quick and easy to keep an eye on prices there!

I ordered 1st March via Boiler Juice, order confirmed for delivery by 13th March at 68.0 per litre.
Order was delivered on 13th March as promised by Lynx Fuels. No arguments, no backing out, no price increase.

Why is it that when gas prices went up, oil users (who tend not to use gas!) and are a minority group, were surcharged through their electric bills for the help the government gave to ALL gas users. Now when oil users are experiencing unprecedented and unregulated price increases, any help will be means tested.

I don't see any comments from LPG users. My 2 year contract has a fix in year 1 but will rise with wholesale costs in year 2 so I am expecting a huge hike in price for my second year. In my experience, LPG companies are very quick to put prices up when wholesale prices rise but in 26 years of using LPG I have never been advised of a price fall while in contract. I always have to haggle to get a fair price. Anyone getting quotes at the moment?

I am expecting an order today. The previous price in January was 78p per litre. It is now £1.30 per litre. I rely on oil for my cooking, heating and hot water. I have not had the heating on at all for the last 3 weeks and am turning off the the cooker. I could only afford 500 litres -usually I have 1000 litres. The price for this order will be more than the previous one which was double the amount.

HI - I live in the SW of England and like many people we have no choice but to use heating oil - I bought heating oil on the 3rd March as people were starting to talk abour price rises - I paid £658 which was still more than my previous order. The same amount of oil today is now £965.
I wont be able to get any reflief as am not on universal credit etc. I am sure I am not alone.

I've had an oil boiler since 2011, used initially for radiator central heating and hot water. The central heating has always been reliable but the hot water system has caused some costly repairs over the years. Two years ago, I stopped using the boiler for hot water, to save money on fuel and maintenance. I have a good electric shower, which is all I really need running hot water for. I generally scour dishes in soap and cold, running tap water, or boil kettles of water if needed in the winter. My washing machine heats its own water. For tea or coffee I boil a kettle. That's been fine until the recent jump in prices, more than doubling the price of kerosene. I decided to drastically cut down on boiler use a week ago, to conserve and eek out what oil I have left. I've been terribly lazy in not using my woodburning stove at all for the last two years, despite having plenty of scrap wood (e.g.old wooden pallets and tree prunings) available to saw into firewood. It's been so convenient switching on the central heating for an hour when needed. Sawing up wood takes a lot of time and it doesn't last long. However, the stove produces such a good heat and it's lovely to watch it burning. Another bonus is that you work up quite a lot of body heat while outdoors in the cold, sawing up wood. When I come back inside, I don't feel the cold nearly as much. Working on a computer all day or watching TV doesn't generate any body heat and the whole house feels much colder when you are not doing anything physical. That's the situation at the moment…use the woodburning stove in the cold weather, even if it means buying in more wood. Once the stove is lit the temperature climbs very quickly.

Just received my oil delivery £802 for half the amount 21/1/26 (£702).I use oil for heating, cooking and hot water, there is no other choice as we are not on main gas. I am a pensioner and already have turned off the heating in order to eke out the oil I have.
