edeams prime account

Does anybody know how to cancel an edreams subcription? Last month I realised that edreams have been taking £9.99 of my credit card every month and I have not authorised any payments.

I think the reason that I have not noticed the money going out is because I take a number of flights a year. Some destinations are covered by two filghts each way. When I come to pay for seats the price of each one is around the £9.99 mark.

From what I have seen edreams have two ways of cancelling their Prime account.

One is by telephone.

+442086118966 They claim it it quick and easy! Last week I called the number and politely asked the virtual assistant if I could call speak to a human being. The call was still ringing after an hour.

They claim that it is possible to go on the Prime web site to close an account by logging on to the Prime Web site. I do not have any log in details because I did not set up the account. edreams say it is quick and simple to open account. However, when this is done the person logging in is aggreeing to the edreams account. If I do that I can't say I did not agree to the account and ask for all my money back. Catch 22 situation

My credit card company says they can close the account but but they can only give me back 3 months of subscriptions.

Anybody out there with the same problem. Or people who have managed to get their money back in full.

Can trading standards look into this for me? Anybody Know?

Thanks for any help

Clearly you did when you booked your trip/holiday via them.

Why speak to a human, assistant should cancel it for you.

Only way to get more back is to speak to E-Dreams & hope, but even then they will say you agreed to the subscription.

It does say if you don't have a password for a account, to use forgotten password to set it up.
I have a feeling you accepted a trial when you booked a flight, and it just carried on renewing. This is just a assumption.

Other than that, it says they are available 24 hours a day by phone, so maybe try different times of day to get though.

eDreams dupe people into subscribing to eDreams Prime by displaying 2 different prices in flight results - a "Non-discounted price" and a "Discounted price". The discounted price is an introductory offer to subscribe to Prime with 15 days free and then a recurring payment.

It's likely you did this if you've used eDreams to book flights. Agree with the above use the Forgotten Password with your email address to get into your account and hopefully you'll be able to easily cancel.

I think I'll just cancel with my credit card, get three months of payments back and then never use edreams again.

I did buy a flight from them in July. £150 to Albania and back. Three months later the samme flight times was £50 with Ryanair. Is that the discounted price £150!!!?

Let us know how you get on with that 😱

Assuming the credit card refund you (and at this stage there’s no immediate reason for them to) how are you going to deal with eDreams when they pass on the debt ?

I would have never purchased anything with the word Prime next to it. Can you remember the problems with Amazon some time ago. Perhaps edreams migh do what they do now.!

I spoke with them today. I will ask my credit card to pay back 3 months. I will then go to the small claims court for the rest of my money. Then I will set about my life's work to convince honest people never to use this company.

They have changed their number 02086118972 it was 02086118966. Perhaps someone will come on a say I had the wrong number and make out it was my fault that I could not get in touch with them

It comes to something when a customer has to make regular print screens of the booking process because edreams appear to have the right to claim a customer has agreed to something they have'nt agreed to
