Mine has also gone through today, sent metre readings off as requested by E.ON and runs out on the 7th June 2027

Is anyone else struggling to send meter readings? I’ve tried the website and app but getting told they are setting up my account so can’t submit readings yet. I’m due to switch on the 10 th and they are taking the first payment then as well.

they’ll send you an email on the morning your switch goes live and only then let you submit a meter reading

Yes, my mother received an email from E-ON Next advising that the switch was in progress and that she needed to enter her readings any time between now and up to the switch date.
We set up an online account but when we tried to enter the readings, their system just kept throwing out an error.
I've emailed them with the readings, explaining that their system isn't working.I also took photos of the gas and electricity meter readings just in case! Will take more photos on the day of the switch.1 -
On the day the switch completes the section in the app for metre readings will become live, my switch was sheduled to complete on the 7th March and I checked my account in the app on the morning of the 7th and the metre reading section was now live and accepting readings. I had the same message before the 7th asking me to send metre readings before the 12th March, just ignore that and wait for the actual switch date to arrive and you'll be good to go in the E.ON App. You'll then get confirmation emails from E.ON telling you they are now supplying your energy. Just wait till your switch date comes around 👍

First of all, I am so sorry that I may have misled people.
Here is my story:
Beginning of last week, I tried to switch to the 'Next Fixed 15m v7' tariff via my special MSE link.
All appeared to have gone fine and I received my confirmation email from MSE.
However, I did not receive an email from EON Next, however, I am already a current customer of EON Next.
I waited a few days and decided to telephone EON Next. I spoke to an agent and they could not see any sign of my requested switch and not only that, they had not even heard of 'Next Fixed 15m v7'. I asked them to double check with their line manager and after a minute, they came back and said that the tariff had been dis-continued because of the crisis in the Middle East etc.
However, I have just received an email from EON Next and to my surprise I have been on the new tariff since the 3rd of March, which is really great news.
So, again, sorry for my posting, saying that the tariff had been pulled.
All we have to wait for now is to see whether we will all be getting a reduced tariff due to the 'Government Scheme' which is scheduled for 1st of April.
Has any one been able to ascertain whether this will happen for the 'Next Fixed 15m v7' tariff?

Just completed Switch now. (Started 11pm 5th March) Had problems with meter readings but all went in OK on switch day once I recieved email from them.
Glad I got this before it was pulled.

completed switch yesterday - received email from EON confirming
switch requested on 4 March, email from EON on 9th
I did wonder if they would make some excuse and pull out but fair dues to them they honoured the request
