All the same things apply to the Octopus website. I’d be a bit upset if they were blocking you on purpose. I switched to them because everybody seemed to say their customer service was very good, after having a nightmare my previous supplier.

I would agree with that. Hopefully what I have described will turn out to be a one-off glitch once their staff or AI can look at it. Interesting to know if any other forumite has experienced something similar.

I confess to not being totally clear over the distinction between items 2 and 3
Item 3 is the total energy produced by your solar, whether you use it whether you export it. Item 2 is what you export, ie the left over solar when generation exceeds your consumption.
1 -
Not not necessarily. You export when generation exceeds consumption at that particular moment. At another time, when consumption exceeds generation, you'll be importing.

How do I contact the Moderator(s) to ask for help in getting these 2 threads untangled and relocated properly?

Use the red "report" button at the bottom of the post(s) you want moving. (With hindsight, everything you've posted on this thread this month is unrelated to the thread's original subject and could have been a separate thread.)
If you want posts deleting, you can do that yourself.

My solar generation is displayed on my solar meter. But is my consumption (not) reduced by the same amount? I can foresee a distinction between "virtual" and actual net consumption just to make things complicated.

Why don't you start a new thread? We can then explain how your import, export, generation and consumption are related without it all being in a thead about "New Price Cap 1 April 2026 Octopus Fixed"!
