Same here. As the 12 month fix is showing that it would be higher than going on the Flexible tariff - I’m waiting and hoping there will be better options nearer to 31st May.

I have just done another comparison - all the fixed deals are a bit less than Octopus’s offering of 12m fixed - but the exit fees are all now really high - even Octopus is saying £75 for each. I’m just not sure what to do so will probably bury my head in the sand again for a few weeks and see how things are. At the moment Octopus say I will go on to their flexible tariff if I don’t take the fixed deal which is reasonable at the moment but probably won’t be come July!!

I've yet to check but I think that Martin Lewis Esq is advocating going onto a fix ASAP. But that is not Octopus only tariffs. And recommendations are not known for being valid more than short term ..

Has anyone else been having log-in problems recently? The system now refuses to accept the user name and password that I have been using for years, and to boot won't allow me to follow the usual reset password routine. It looks like I am still registered; it regards my data as still there, but "invalid". Cyber equivalent of a Catch 22.
Is there a forum for such non-tariff issues?

Try clearing your browser cache and maybe history as well. The cache may be corrupted and holding old data. They do this to save time by loading the cached page instead of the same page over and over, when you visit websites. I like to turn my computer off after that and power it up again. It's amazing how many problems are solved by switching the computer off and back on again.

I do all that you recommend every night for the past … years. This phenomenon started just a few days ago.

You are obviously signed in at the moment, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to post. Does it work sometimes? If your browser fills in your email and password automatically, try filling them in manually. You could register a different username, email and password. At least you would be able to read posts and contribute to the forum under a different name. If all else fails, drop MSE IT an email and see what they suggest. Please post back, if you find out what was causing it.
