    Thanks Smlsave.

Just checked ebay and one of my items has a £15 bid, woohoo! My job for the weekend is to try and list a few more bits on there, but it's just soooo tedious . x

Hello everyone, and happy saturday to you all! :j

Still no news on the job front, I have a feeling the next couple of weeks are going to draaaaaaag whilst I wait to hear . In the meantime though, I have been ebaying like a demon, and doing some research into the bank account offers that give you £100 to join.

First Direct offer £100 if you take out an account with them and pay in £1500 per month - I can't do this yet as my take home pay isn't enough, but should I get the promotion this is one of the first things I will do, it is money for nothing after all!

Planning a low/no spend day today - it is persisting it down so a good enough excuse to curl up in front of a movie I think!

    Have good days everyone xx

Good to hear that you have put that OP in place, well done. Try to focus on other things and those two weeks will fly by. No rain here since the early morning but more is forecast.

ATB - fingers crossed for your promotion.
Def go with First Direct if you can. The £100 is nice but what's better is their excellent customer service. You phone, within 3 rings a PERSON answers you form somewhere in the UK and, shock of all, is able to deal with you enquiry quickly and efficiently!!!!!!
No voice recording, no push 1 for..... push 2 for....., no green sleeves whilst on hold for hours. It's a revelation!!!!

    Good Afternoon everyone,

I wasn't planning on posting again on here until I find out about the job, but I couldn't resist. I will definately know by the end of the week - please keep your fingers crossed.

There has been one job-related development though. If I'm not selected for the promotion, I have been informed that I will be made redundant. :o:o:o:o. So, to say there is a lot riding on the decision is an understatement. Positive thoughts please peeps x

Obviously, good luck. I guess the positive way to look at this new revelation is they didn't tell you before the interview - that really would have put strain on you I think? Keep positive thoughts.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
