Thanks everyone!
It is such a huge relief, and obviously wonderful news financially. I don't know my gross salary exactly yet, but as soon as I do I'll be able to work out what my take home pay will be. The payrise takes effect from September.
Plans/jobs to do for the next few weeks are:
1. Increase mortgage OP from £100 to £400; - DONE
2. Look into First Direct bank account that gives you £100 when you join;
3. Get a couple of bits on ebay (I've been meaning to do this for ages but the weather has been so lovely I keep avoiding it);
4. Spend the £30 in my Paypal account partly on MEand partly on sis-in-law's birthday pressie;and
5. Open up a new savings account (my ISA is full, and I want a decent-ish other account to bung any spare money in, then OP in chunks as and when I can in addition to the regular monthly OPs).
But, all of the above can wait until I've had some champers (okay okay cava;):D)
A very happy and sparkly ATB xxMFW
