are you visiting ? temporary ? or resident ?

This is surely a case of passing this to CMA to investigate as this type of correspondence is not in the public interest and is misleading
I'm happy to do that @patient_dream , do I need to wait for my case to be closed before I report them? Also is there a template I could use to send to CMA?are you visiting ? temporary ? or resident ?
Resident.

Just FYI, an email summary from BAC:
Further to the advice session on 23.02.26 as agreed I have summarised the advice provided into bullet points.
We advised the following;- You received a parking charge notice (PCN) to keeper as your vehicle was not parked correctly within the markings of the bay or space.
- You did not pay the charge or appeal the parking charge within the 28 day time limit. Information on how to contest the charge was clearly given in the PCN.
- Although the ‘appeal’ option is no longer available to you, you may file a defence through the civil courts in the event that UK Parking Control issue a county court claim against you.
- You have 14 days to file a file a defence or 28 days to file an acknowledgment of service (extra time to file a defence).
- If unsuccessful a CCJ will remain on your credit file for six years from date of the order (unless paid in full within one month of the date of the order) and can impact on your credit rating and lead to enforcement action.
- You may at the discretion of UK Parking Control, make a reduced offer to clear the balance, for the ‘avoidance of costs’ and in accordance with debt pre-action protocol via the email link.

Yes (all correct) but we know all that! It is in our 8 steps in the Template Defence thread.
This isn't a case for the CMA. We need to pick those battles very carefully and not send template complaints in all cases.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yep, more Osner rubbish!

Hi, just in case anybody else in the same situation is keeping an eye on this thread - here's a follow up letter from ZZPS, informing me they'll pass the matter onto GCTT, and the letter from GCTT. As agreed I am ignoring all this until I receive a Letter of Claim or a Money Claim.
Thanks!1 -
Even more Osner Rubbish!

Misleading about CCJ risk.
Misleading about Beavis.
Misleading about 'Enforcement Agents'.
IMHO: likely just sent by ZZPS. You can see it's the same letter design.
Has anyone ever reported that GCTT actually use CEAs after a CCJ?
I think not. IMHO it looks like a shill?
GCTT bears all the hallmarks a front to frighten people & nothing else. And now ZZPS are flipping well SRA regulated too, which is going to be appalling for consumers.
If a recipient of that ZZPS letter looks up GCTT online, they find a website with ONE PAGE which only talks about being 'bailiffs' and taking goods.
Nothing about them only working as DRAs. And just one 'legal notices' link which takes you in the loop… to ZZPS' privacy page:
What the heck is wrong with the system when these firms can:
- make people think they are acting as bailiffs when they aren't, and
- completely duck scrutiny from the FCA which knows about Gary Osner and Scott Wilson from Roxburghe and Wonga respectively?
If those two tried to register an ordinary (regulated) DRA with the FCA, that regulator would firstly consider whether Osner and/or Wilson is a 'fit & proper person' given their backgrounds with dubious, 'unfit' OFT banned/sanctioned money-grabbing companies, with Wonga and Roxburghe's histories well known to the FCA.
Instead they operate completely under the FCA knowledge radar, in parking, where the Government thinks that the industry can police itself with 'arms length' Conformity Assessment Boards (staffed by the BPA and IPC) and that a Regulator isn't needed.
It damn well is.
