although I see future bills going up…..not had a email yet……is this right0 -
They seem to be taking a long time to send the messages out - I'm in a similar position with a deal on Sky Q agreed last November but no email yet.

Of course not, some staff don't seem to be aware of the changes yet, I insisted on being transferred to someone who knew about the new T&C's. You should get an email shortly but you can still call them.

Here's a URL from the Sky web-site that might help:
Specifically it says: "If you're thinking of cancelling your Sky +, Sky Q, or Sky Broadband & Talk because of these changes, you should contact us within 30 days of receiving your notification to avoid early termination charges." (their bold)0 -
If it helps both the automated telephone call and the first Whatsapp agent (Values Team) both told me I couldn't cancel, it was the Retentions Team she passed me to that knew what they were doing.

bit of a frustrating experience with Sky this PM on live chat. Offered me a deal that mitigated the price rise and as a result stated that as there was no longer a price rise I could not cancel without penalty. Went round the houses a bit before I asked about whether it would extend my contract - which they confirmed it would.
At that point I was then presented with a number of options including the ability to cancel without penalty 31 days notice and no charge. In the end I accepted a lower cost stream deal which I had intended to look at anyway, so overall was happy in the end but experience was frustrating to say the least.

What they were saying (possibly poorly, who would have thought that using Asian call centres would create problems?) is that a new deal would entail a 24 month new contract which is no surprise. The upside of this is that come April 2027 you could have negotiated a new TV deal (and BB if on theirs) if still with Q or HD+
Changing to Sky Stream removes that option so you will be stuck in a 24 month contract (TV only) with (presumably) just a price rise in April 2027. Given how much cheaper Stream is that may not be a problem to you though.
