A space saver spare is often slightly smaller diameter than the standard tyre. So maybe the car thinks that one wheel is rotating slower than the others and has assumed it's a space saver spare fitted.

    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

they have done this as part of what vaxhaull has asked them to do yesterday. Still no fix. They do not think the tyre is the issue.

No spare tyre, the TPMS sensors are indirect and are in the wheel as part of the ABS

I’ve found allot more posts and groups discussing this same issue, and as u say it’s not getting fixed!
    It’s so frustrating.
I’ll add the breakdown of what has been checked as requested by Vaxhaull warranty dept. But I have to bring the car back to them.
luckily I managed to get a video of what happens and the message that they also need us to take because they don’t know what it is lol.

If there are TPMS sensors in the wheels (which I didn't think was a Stellantis thing) then the obvious answer is that it can't detect one so it thinks the wheel it can't detect is a spare.

That should be really easy to check though, so I doubt if there are wheel sensors.

I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

One would hope that buying & driving a car would notice that a space save was fitted… Aside from looking totally different tthat big yellow speed limit is a major give away.

TBH, how many cars actually come with a spare?

My money is on 12 V output not in the correct range & is causing electronics to throw errors.

Just an update … car had further checks us sending a video to show the message that come up etc Vaxahull suggested replacing the front tyre that was the newest but was put on the car by the dealer prior to us buying.
we made it clear to the dealer we have sought advice from the ombudsman and citizens advice and were told we were within our rights for a refund.
they agreed to pay Vaxahull for the tyre replacement to match the Michelin originals and track and balance the car.
it’s been a few days now and so far so good.

hopefully a simple thing had fixed it for good.
    Thanks for your advice everyone
