Bad idea. Don't park there again.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Yes

I was thinking about but I won’t lol.

    yes she has blue badge.

I was thinking for writing a complaint ( under the equality act) to the housing association regarding the issue, it’s worth the try right?

Definitely because they are jointly and severally liable. Harassment of a carer assisting a disabled person is illegal.

You could also ask the EHRC for advice.

Just an update on my situation. I complained to the housing association as the tickets were issued while assisting my 84-year-old disabled mother ( didn’t mention driver)

Stage 1 was rejected, but they gave incorrect information (told me to use disabled bays which don’t exist). They also said they can’t cancel tickets, but later admitted they may intervene after appeal.

I’ve now escalated to Stage 2. A new officer is reviewing it and has asked about vulnerabilities, so they are now looking at it.

There are no disabled bays and no system for carers/visitors, so currently there is no practical way to assist without receiving tickets.

I have now received 2 NTKs relating to the following PCNs:

PCN dated 04/01/26 – NTK received and appealed on 16/02/26 using the NEWBIES thread, still awaiting response

PCN dated 08/02/26 – NTK received, appealed on Wednesday and received a rejection today

Will update once I receive the Stage 2 decision.

    Great. No paying! No panic.

You could also get your MP to write to the parking firm and HA.
