Glad you are feeling a bit better Natty.
Not a big flying day today:
- put WM on
- did some washing up
- did a bit of life admin
- went to DanceFit
- went to Alexander lesson
- did some drumming practice
- went to zumba
That's about it!
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
It's tough getting rid of the past but it does free up space for the future.9 -

Sending positive vibes to wherever they're needed - seems like a lot of people are having a tough time at the moment, both on here and 'IRL'.

Morning all xx
Paid stuff today. I sorted out the 'medicine' drawer while I was waiting for the kettle to boil. It looks much better. Note to self: no need to buy any parrots for a while!
Half term hols here so I can set off a little later. I'd forgotten until I went to Mr Al yesterday and wondered why there were so many children in there.
I checked my car's tyre pressures and added air where required yesterday. At home. On the drive. With a gadget that DB showed me I had in my boot 🤦♀️ when I went to him for air last year. I was inordinately proud of myself at this accomplishment...faced the anxiety and did it. Without blowing myself up. Although I did overbalance and end up sat on the drive at one point. 😱. Managed to get up OK....another plus 😊
Have a good day.

Morning all. One washload done and dried. Pancake batter made ready for lunchtime but just for DH. I hate cooking them so much that I can't bear to eat them. Last year they made me feel savage! But he does love them. I'm going to have mackerel.
Been for a haircut and blowdry this morning so look a bit tidier. DH not having a good day so not much going on. Well done on your tyres Round 😊
Hope everyone's OK x

Valli, for old coins my favourite use is to turn them into fridge magnets. I forgot to change up some 10f coins in France when they adopted the Euro so I started with them. I've collected all sorts over the years and they're now serving a purpose in the house. I got the round magnets I use from The Range craft department - very cheap and cheerful.
I've managed to get three loads through the WM over yesterday and today, one load dried outside and overnight in the kitchen, the other two are danging now. It's due to rain later, several hours earlier than was forecast, but the laundry basket is almost empty for the first time since Christmas so I'm happy.
More sweet potato, oat flour and sardine dog treats made and baked, so that'll keep her happy for a month or so. I can't get hold of Bonios anywhere and haven't been able to for weeks and it appears not even the River/Jungle online can, so it looks as though that's another casualty. One post I've found says that when they did find some, they were a different colour than the ones she'd had before, and they upset her dog's stomach. Anyone else had Bonio problems lately?

I am still feeling ill so managed to get myself an appointment at the surgery this morning. I have a chest infection, and my eyes are also streaming with gunge. I called at the pharmacy on the way back to pick up some ABs and have taken the first (double) dose, so am hoping there will be some improvement by tomorrow evening. Apart from cancelling seeing DD and DGS2 today, I've also had to cancel going to the funeral tomorrow of a former colleague's husband, and I shall not be going to Knit & Natter, the Pancake Party or anything else at church this week - no point in spreading my germs around. DH is somehow staying clear of it. Rosie is sad not to be going out for walks with me, but L gives her extra long walks on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays so she will have to make do with my company instead.
I haven't got the energy to do any proper flying. Everywhere is tidy and the washing is up to date, but the dust is now beginning to show - however I don't think it will help my cough if I stir it up, so instead I am gradually working my way through some family history research for a friend. I just need to write up my findings now, then I have another friend's family to take back to 1841 - and after that I might have a chance of doing my own.
Hope everyone else is staying well or feeling better. Glad to know you're on the mend, Natty, but please don't overdo it xx
Take care if snow or ice is coming your way tomorrow xxx

So sorry you're under the weather Ionafan. Healing vibes heading your way. I'm cross that my lovely healing asterisks are now giving me italics instead.
Laundry shuffled back into the kitchen because the rain is now starting here. Belovéd has kindly booked a taxi for us to go to the flix, instead of us splashing through the puddles there and back.

I hope you start to feel better very soon @ionafan
We were notionally in charge of a couple of grandkids yesterday so minimal flying done. Hoovered throughout, washing done and put away. Fruit bowl organised and fridge cleaned and organised.
Today I've given the microwave a thorough clean inside and out. The coat rack in the hall is emptied of too many coats and the shoe rack is tidied. How many coats and shoes do 2 adults need to keep in the hall 🙃
I'm making banana and chocolate cake tonight as we have a friend visiting tomorrow. Will have a slice tonight with a cuppa just to check for quality control purposes.
