Email addresses turned into mentions

What I did:

Answer. Opened Wordpad and copied text from there that I have been using for some years without problem

What Should happen:

Answer. The text should appear EXACTLY as copied

What happened:

Answer The Rich text editor decided to alter the pasted text

Notice the spaces before .co.uk

Why it matters:

If we are giving posters information, it needs to be correct

It might be worth upvoting that post as well (I am upvoting both as the issue happens whenever pasting text containing the @ symbol).
