Principality online banking
Principality's 2FA text messages didn't seem to be arriving, or perhaps not being sent (this seems to happen from time to time, but trying a few minutes later usually resolves it), but no luck with it this time, and now their online banking site seems to be "offline for maintenance".
Has we all in effect knocked their website over trying to get all our monthly transfers from the easy access savings account into our various regular saver accounts done and out of the way today? 😁

Maybe they've used up their daily quota of SMS for today.

I have had problems previously around 1st of the month. Based on this I'll give it a couple of days before checking my push payment of £200 has arrived!

Have had problems before that eventually resolved without me needing to contact them, but haven't tried logging in today as not funding until tomorrow due to needing the money to count for February current account pay ins.

You can withdraw it straight away and it will still 'count'. All their software does is add up the amount of all the external deposits; the time they languish in the account is irrelevant.

But given that I needed them to land in the current accounts in February before being able to fund RS with them, all I would achieve by giving a withdrawal instruction to be carried out today would be to also lose interest from Skipton on the funds. The money would be withdrawn from the savings account today, and might not show until tomorrow when it will be a working day. If it did show today, Nationwide and NatWest would date it tomorrow so I couldn’t then send it to the RS today without being deemed to have gone overdrawn.
The only account I have that would potentially work to fund today would be Chase and that’s the one I don’t need to feed today (it will be receiving a maturity later in the month.)0 -
Website was under maintenance earlier today. Up and running now.
