Text Editor: The text is 1 character short copied & pasted, now multiple spoiler warnings

Got a red error box with message that the body was one character too short. Copied the post to notepad, deleted the draft, pasted & posted. The paragraphs in my post now appear under “spoiler warnings”

Why it matters:

Totally unnecessary. Usually copy & paste monthly budget from notepad Edit - it has copied & pasted as normal so why did multiple “spoiler warnings” appear last time?

It sounds like anything in a Spoiler tag isn't counted towards the character count.

But I've personally never seen any pasted text convert to Spoiler text.

Which notes app? (You mention Notepad, but also Iphone).

Do you have any info on how the text was formatted in Notepad. I'll try to reproduce.

Hi @MSE_Stephen it’s the Apple notes app. Sorry I am not very tech savvy not sure how to see / change formatting.

I may have clicked on something by mistake to activate the spoiler warning on each paragraph? TBH I don’t even know how to set / remove the spoiler ?

@MSE_Stephen further to above reply I am also having an intermittent problem with tagging people. It seems to have tagged you in this post but not the previous one. The only difference is I typed faster this time so the box came up before it could “save draft”
