Looks a bit of a faff but I guess it's a solution to a well known EV charging issue.

If youre saving £25 per charge it seems like a small price to pay!

How do you guarantee the avaiability of the parking space outside your property?

Doesn't the £1300 include a small permit parking zone outside your house, and exclusive rights to purchase a permit to park there? :)
Tbh, for £1300 I'd want the nice lady in the photo to stand in the road while I was out and stop anyone else parking!
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

It appears there is no permit/right to park outside your own home after having the ducting installed.
From their FAQs:- Most charging cables are long enough to reach either one space up or one space down from directly outside your house. Still taken? We find most residents just wait until the space becomes free and then move their car over.

This assumes that council are willing to allow the channels in the pavement. Not all councils are willing to allow this.

Round my way it would need the nice lady and three of her not-so-nice mates (and their pit-bulls) to keep people off a spare parking space.

Only a few councils currently do and Leeds, linked in the original post, is one such.

So instead of tripping random pedestrians, you're now reduced to tripping your next-door neighbour. I guess that's progress.
