Samsung fridge freezer not freezing
The lights are on and the temperature is -20 in theory - but it is not freezing
The fridge is cool and works.
Any advice?

My advice would be to pull your fridge freezer away from the wall for good ventilation. Secondly, pull your fridge freezer out, get the hoover out and give the back grills, and especially the bottom a good seeing too! Also make sure that no flexi tubes are bent or crossed near the motor as this will stop the water flow through the fridge. Also check your inner freezer seals and water wash all the ridges - I do this every week 😉.
If all else fails, defrost your fridge freezer as there maybe an ice blockage in the flexi motor tubes.

Whilst the appliance is away from the wall, look for the place the copper pipe and steel pipes are brazed together. I was told it's a common place for it to fail. If it's not failed, smear some silicone grease around the area to keep the air off the joint.

Did you figure it out? I had a similar issue with mine. Turned out I was reading the display wrong and the freezer wasn’t actually set to the coldest setting.
I checked my Samsung RF28HFEDTSR refrigerator user manual, and there’s a part that explains how the smart sensors and display temps work versus the actual compartment temps. Saved me a lot of guesswork. Worth double‑checking the settings and also listening/feeling for the fan running in the freezer. If that’s off, it won’t actually cool properly even if the panel says it’s cold.0 -
Sadly it was broken the fridge failed a few days later.
