Principality Christmas - 'only' 5.25%.
Agreed - if it's above my EA of 5% it gets opened.
Little ifs or buts.

I logged in to Progressive in incognito to see if it will make any difference. Still the same process as in normal mode, login fails > press back button > you're in.

I'll still be dipping into the forum, just won't have my laptop with me so won't be able to update p1 of this thread for that one night.

"How do I open and manage my account?
You can open this account by post or at any of our branches or agencies. Simply complete an application form and return it with your opening deposit*, or post both to us at the address shown in this brochure. Cheques should be made payable to the account holder."
Could you ask the application form over the phone to be sent to your address and you send your AF back together with the cheque ??

I'm having technical issues updating p1 of this thread again
I'll try again first thing in the morning, for now I have noted the launch of the Principality BS Christmas 2027 RS.
Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, normal service will be resumed when the forum gremlins let me.

Yes you can phone and they will send the application form and a reply paid envelope.
You can enclose a cheque, or they allow you 5 days to pay by bank transfer after they advise you of your account number.

You can probably ask over the phone, but I requested my application form online. The form arrived by post with 1st class SAE and I sent it back with the cheque 2 days ago. The cheque has not been cashed yet.
Edit: I can see £250 as upcoming transaction on my bank app now, which means the cheque will be cashed tomorrow.

The tab to request a form to be posted is two boxes over from the download one - you have to fill out your details to access the download anyway so may as well file the request there rather than adding to their phone queue.I missed the address and sent direct to the Coalville branch (which issued my previous passbook.) No issues, cheque cashed today. Guess head office share them amongst the branches for processing anyway.
