When are people thinking of pulling the £110 out/closing the account? Easy to tell if you win I suppose, assuming the final regular prize draw has already taken place.

COP worked fine with mine, it only failed at the last hurdle. Was yours a standing order or just the initial payment please? I'm wondering if the FD issue only affects standing orders. Certainly they were aware of the issue and I'm not convinced they're in a hurry to fix it either. I'd already made my initial payment trouble-free from my nominated account (Lloyds/Halifax).

I have £240 in the account. I will leave until maturity, I think 17th September. Not worth closing early, just in case, as account must be open to receive any prize (the last monthly draw was due "second week" in August, per t and c's, with the additional draw stated to be on 14th August). Interest rate has never been competitive, only a few pence to be gained by early transfer out.

It's an ancient 'bug' with FD standing orders (but not normal payments). It only seems to occur with an all zero account number. FD could easily fix it but seem to have zero intention ( if you'll forgive the pun) of doing so.

ESBS Monthly Saver Online
In a previous post I raised the matter of the following statement in the Summary information on the account web page : "Are happy to make at least 1 payment per month (minimum £1)"
I called today and asked for more details. This is what I was informed, however this does not appear to be published online.
As stated, it is necessary to make a deposit of at least £1 every month.
If a deposit it not made, you will be notified in the month following the first no deposit, either by letter or online message. If no deposit is made in the second month you will be notified again in the third month, either by letter or online message, and be given 15 days to make a deposit. If no deposit is received or contact made after 15 days, the Monthly Saver Online account will be closed and a charge of £10 taken from the balance. The going rate, currently 6%A, will be paid to the day of closing.
I stress that this is what I was told and on the phone with a customer service person we could not find these terms in the current General Terms and Conditions, dated 1/7/26 and there doesn't appear to be a more detailed Summary Sheet available online. I was told that this no deposit condition is the same as the passbook version of the account.
I've asked for more information on the above and ideally in a document. If I receive anything I can share, I will do.
ESBS apparently has two processing times for deposits. Just after 9am and 4:15pm. I made my first transfer to ESBS yesterday around 4pm by faster payment. Today the credit was shown on my account dated yesterday, which I was somewhat surprised at, so I must have just got in before the 4:15 approx cut-off.
If anyone has information or experience different to the above, please do share.
