To be fair they don't account for 13th/11th/7th etc payments etc, or moving the funding dates to the optimum, so I can understand them asking the question.

What worries me is that if I open a Beverley Regular Saver tomorrow it will mature on Friday 13th August 2027 and I won’t be able to withdraw from it until the following Monday so I will have the weekend where it earns no or very little interest.

Generally, estimated total RS interest for a 'perfect' payment record will depend on what date within a calendar month the account matures, … and typically that will in turn depend on what date the account was first opened (or funded as the case may be). As has been discussed many times on this forum, a later date in the month can make a noticeable difference to the total interest.
Be that as it may, if anyone on here is interested in estimating the interest on every available RS with reasonable accuracy, how about if that person would kindly undertake to maintain their own spreadsheet, share their conclusions with the forum, … and then also be prepared to answer queries from all and sundry it it turns out a little different? One wouldn't wish it upon any single person to do absolutely all of the RS work; and this proposed task in particular seems onerous and thankless!

Beverley
Interest is paid on each 31st December, then finally on closure.

Everyones priorities differ. For me having the account or several, far outweighs most other issues. I don't really think about other issues. And more often than not some solution or compromise can be worked out. But if the account is NLA when you come to apply, the issues are moot.

Can I ask if anyone has an issue with the log-in for Beverley BS. I have received an email this afternoon informing me to log-in to obtain the account details, but the log-in fails telling me the details are incorrect or the ID has been suspended.
I did have access once I received the activation code. I guess I will need to call them tomorrow.
