Set up a few NEW current accounts, KEEP your co op ones, and switch the new ones, then you and others wouldn't miss this and have similar dilemmas,
I used to do this with Nationwide years ago, I think they allowed you to have 5 current accounts at a time so it's what I had for a little bit until I could switch them away, and it's how I hold accounts with pretty much every high street bank etc now, it's taken me time to build up the collection of who I bank with but yea, I can in theory easily get any savings account that comes up now because I've already but the work in.

I imagine it might be as they are more digital than they used to be but can't say for sure.

I'm yet to go through a Monmouthshire account fully maturing however I do know that if they do hold the account details of where you've paid in from they can manually transfer the money out so you may wish to give them a call. It's possible the website/app is playing up.

In reply to The Electric Cow on page 370 (Sorry but the quote function isn't fully working for me & I've put this in feedback section) :
all 3 LBG apps are linked now so whichever app you use it will by default show accounts from whoever you are without of the 3, you can also get help for any account out of the 3 from any app, the only thing you can't do I believe for example is apply for a BOS account if using the Lloyds app, you would have to use the BOS app.
There's a co service thread here about it:
Obviously now it will reduce down to 2 because Lloyds is ditching the Halifax brand

Its not exactly vital but does anybody know if/when the Monmouthshire 7% app saver go NLA?
Mine looks like it doesn't mature till late August. I must have been snail like jumping on this one.

Monmouthshire are unusual in that the account term starts from date of first funding and allows I think 30 days to do so, so some accounts will still be maturing over a year after it went NLA. Mine is also late August: I recall delaying funding as I did not have the full £1,000 to pay in when it launched, but gave myself a few days leeway so that getting the money out shouldn't run into September if there were an issue.
I can't recall when it went NLA but I think the app one went before the branch one (which was maybe early October.)

This is my list I have ending for August
4th August
Virgin (6.5%)
12th AugustDarlington 6%
28th AugustPrincipality 7.36%
29th AugustMonmouthshire App Exclusive 7%
Just wondering if Virgin & Darlington are correct and not having a non straightforward end date as in 1year after opening

Darlington is the 31st August, 30th September for all accounts opened in September and so on. All Virgin accounts of that issue are 31/8/26 I believe.

My MonBS 7% app maturing on 27th Aug. I think it was released on 25th (bank holiday), but there were also some issues with app so not everyone could open and fund straight away.
I can't recall when it went NLA either. I grab accounts like this as soon as they are available.
