Lloyds froze my accounts for opening several and switching out in quick succession (Santander RAF bonanza) - insisted I went to a Lloyds branch with proof of ID which was a bit inconvenient, nearest branch is 17 miles away in busy town.
They can be a pain if they spot you taking-the-Michalean.
