I have drafted all the sections 😀
Time for a little break before I start refining them and adjusting the word count etc. Should be able to get a decent-looking draft to the relevant people tomorrow.

Well done, it really seems like you have managed to find that motivation that was needed.

Thank you, @FootyFanDan, I am a last minute worker when it's a task I don't want to do. I wish I was a bit more of the type that worked gradually on things in advance as it would be far less stressful, but this has been a very unpleasant task that I just haven't wanted to do in the slightest.
I now have a full draft and it's broadly on the word count. I need to do some final proofreading and checks with annotations against criteria and then I will go to bed and send it out tomorrow morning.

I am normally the same, I will avoid something I don't want to do until the very last minute and the hyper focus when I know it is due. I will do a load of easy tasks that aren't due before picking to work on the dreaded tasks.

I hear you. I have done every possible other task and I am well on top of lots of other things because I didn't want to do this one. It's the game of "least horrible task" where I often have something hanging over me.
It's 12.30pm and I have FINISHED. I've even drafted out the emails I will send when I get up tomorrow. I can work from home so I don't have to rush off in traffic. Got to come come down from caffeine and sleep now.

Had good feedback on the report, but a list of amendments of things to squeeze in when it's already a bit over the word count, so I am going to wait a day or two to look at it with fresh eyes and I'll be going through taking out words like "and" to be able to squeeze in some extra sentences.
I'm working from home to save on petrol for a few days.

Well done on getting the report completed and the positive feedback! 😁 It's always satisfying when a ominous task is completed and even better when the work is well received 🙌

I have lost the ability to cook this week as I have just worked flat out for days and I still have an overwhelming amount to do every night and at the weekend. I've been surviving on sandwiches.
