When you get old nobody sees or hears you anyway. It can be quite nice…….

Ha! I love this! I am for sure becoming less relevant the older I get. I will look forward to slipping gradually into obscurity and no one having any expectations of me. I could mess a few tasks up to help things along.

Glad you liked that! The most annoying thing is when you suggest something, nobody comments, then someone says the exact same thing and practically gets a medal…..!

I am always appreciating your comments - you get the medal ❤️🎖️
Maybe it's that invisibility thing 😂 could come in useful.

Thank you, it’s much appreciated

I’m in work today, practising being invisible. I’ve got a book to read on my lunch break instead of working during it. I've listened in a meeting without contributing except to offer some vague encouragement. It's gone successfully so far. I don't think anyone has noticed that I am only doing what I'm paid for.

Collected my water flosser parcel on the way home from work. Popped into the shop to look at the yellow sticker bargains and spent £5 on a few things: white rolls, green beans. plant based mince, potato croquettes, turkey rashers and 2 x Pizza Express pizzas. That's mostly gone in the freezer.
I'm going to read my book for a bit now and then go to the gym to do some cardio.

Back in work today and with a 2 litre bottle of water to drink to try to combat this enduring exhaustion. I've brought a mystery unidentified thing from the freezer and cottage cheese for lunch. I've done some work at a moderate pace and eaten some snacks. I haven't volunteered myself for anything. I've got a meeting later and I'm going to say positive things and be kind but not offer to do anything that sounds like hard work.

Dipped into diaries….. started reading yours and will now follow :). I particularly like the part where you decide to work for what you are paid for and no more. I SO need to do that. I feel I have taken on so many tasks that are not mine, or were never mine but I've done them for so long everybody says they're mine. Going to do the slow withdraw invisible mode…… see how it goes
