Thank you, I had a think about it while I was on my walk and decided to try the quiet quitting. I can’t keep stressing about it.
I’ve bought a little church pew for £5 in a charity shop. It will make a nice hallway seat though it needs a new coat of paint. I got 2 books for £1 each and I’m going to make a vegetable casserole now in the oven.Updated last day of the month… focus improving overall net wealth…

I've got another Claire Douglas book to read from BorrowBox called "Local Girl Missing" and I am getting really good use out of this. I do prefer to read a physical book, but getting the books back to the library in time tends to mean I end up paying a few quid as a fine, so going there in person isn't cost effective.
Today is a no spend day as I am at home reading my book, having a walk later (and I have a free coffee to claim from Greggs if I walk into town). I've got the rest of the vegetable casserole to eat for lunch and I am possibly going to the gym later on if I feel like it. Everything hurts from the induction yesterday, so I'm not sure I'm ready to go back yet, probably tomorrow. I have a lot of work to do but pointedly not doing it. Quiet quitting 👍️

Talking myself out of spending £18 on having snacks delivered. Must not give in to the urge for an impulse spend. Must stick to plans.

Making a cherry Bakewell yoghurt bowl as a distraction from delivery services. This will involve mixing fat free Greek yoghurt with oats and almond extract. Then I will put frozen cherries and ground almonds on top and a sprinkle of flax.
Edit: The verdict was that this is very good! And it did distract from ordering stuff. I am trying to return to eating UPF-free as much as possible.

Does your library not permit renewals online?

@liselle, it does, but when I keep renewing them online I eventually I forget and miss a renewal and then the fines start. I wasted £11 borrowing 2 books that way.

Today's version is banoffee pie yoghurt bowl (oats with greek yoghurt and vanilla extract, with banana slices and a couple of chopped up dates, and a smashed up lotus biscoff biscuit).
Must enjoy the motivation to make creative food while it lasts, as I'll be back to toast and weetabix soon.
Working from home today and I need to go to pick up my replacement water flosser from the Amazon locker across town later. If it's delivered early-ish I am going to walk there at lunch time and have a look at the yellow sticker veg in the supermarket on my way back.

I've had such a nice few days quiet quitting that I think I might also become quietly unreliable, in order to stop people asking me to do things. Just get really invisible and only do what's absolutely necessary.
