Fuse energy- Horrendous

At least it was an advance credit £400 rather than a security deposit others have complained about their suppliers holding.

My energy for the last year was £100 less than advertised thanks to a combination of CS bungs and EO imposed compensation for their CS incompetence. Glad I am away from them.
Never associate with idiots on their own level, because, being an intelligent man, you'll try to deal with them on their level - and on their level they'll beat you every time.
Being hated by idiots is the price you pay for not being one of them.

Be interesting to know on what basis they imposed the £400, not being on the voter's register?

From feedback there seems many who were able to sign up easily and are happy with costs and service, but it isn't clear why the £400 advance payment gets requested, beyond something to do with history. Sometimes signing up for savings accounts for example there can be identity requirements, perhaps due to rules, but there is usually some solution. With energy a month's payment might be taken in advance. But with this there was no resolution even after contacting CS, the amount requested was closer to a year's usage, and there are other suppliers available.
