I finally received the County Court claim after 5.9 years

Go aggressive.
Good morning
Thank you for your email stating you have submitted faulty Particulars of Claim to the court. I am unappreciative of the threats contained within when it is yourselves who are at fault. You have had almost six years to formulate an accurate submission. The onus is on the Claimant to make their case precisely. I suggest you dial back the bulk litigation aspect of your business if the demands are too high.
Therefore I do not consent to the amendment.Submitting an order will cost them £313 and you are in no way liable for their error. Refusing to help them rectify is not unreasonable behaviour. They know they'd be better off paying their client the amount of the claim and lying that you've settled!
They'll just continue though as their errors aren't actually fatal to the case.9 -
They would have to make a full application.
I would say something like
I do not consent to this as this is your error when you should know better as a bulk litigator
I will contest the application

Or a mix of the two.
Basically, a big fat no!

The scheduled send feature of my mail client is a wonderful accessory in this day and age.
They'll get the email 15 minutes prior to their deadline and I can forget about this again for a little while.

yes lying would do wonders for them

I just had my mediation call. A simple call, outlining two things:
1) They wanted proof of payment.
2) They offered to reduce the overall debt to £220, paid in five monthly instalments.Of course I refused and made clear why in my email to QDR.

Hmmm … now they don't have to amend their POC because you just said "I parked" in that email.

I already told them I was the driver.

Just a point to note; QDR originally asked on 20/03/2026 to amend the POC. The PCN was issued 21/03/2020. This puts their request 1 day within the six year deadline.
However, what I'm reading online suggests that the official request to the court was supposed to have been undertaken prior to the six year deadline. Their request to me was not any official request to the court.
Does this mean they are now outside of the six year deadline to amend the POC, or is it based on their request email that was sent on 20/03/2026 to me?
