so I emailed the Bank Park DPO requesting All ANPR images of me and my vehicle on alleged PCN date
A full ANPR event log for my vehicle covering the relevant dates, Records of any manual reviews, checks, or investigations carried out in relation to the PCN
Copies of all internal and external correspondence, notes, and decision-making records relating to my PCN

And details of their ANPR data retention, accuracy, and audit procedures relevant to my PCN

Been fobbed off with a generic template reply with some attachments including a copy of my original PCN letter, pictures of my vehicle picked up by ANPR which I’ve already seen, and screenshots of my appeal correspondence etc.

Is it worth chasing them up with a reply again or should I just wait to see if this goes to court

I'd chase them up again for a full log of all VRM captures of your vehicle in that time period, or you'll report them to the ICO.

    Head it up:

    FORMAL DATA WITHHOLDING COMPLAINT.

Just received reply from the DPO after requesting full log of VRM captures. Conveniently the data is only held for 3 months, yet it hasn’t even been 3 months since the contravention? The alleged parking offence was on 26/12/25

    “Many thanks for your email,

Please note ANPR records for the dates requested are no longer held on our ANPR system. Data is only held for 3 months. Please note ANPR images from the contravention have been provided to you as part of your SAR.

I have attached a copy of the events log

    Kind regards,

    DPO Team”

Do I just complain to the ICO now?

    Definitely complain to the ICO

Also ensure you save the email from Bank Park in case it’s needed later on

Firstly I'd reply pointing out it's not yet 3 months and you are going to report them to the ICO now because their dates don't add up and their excuses don't wash. As such, their DPO must RETAIN and not delete the ANPR captures from that day and should be prepared to prove to the ICO that they are not lying, which this rogue sector is very, very good at.
