Oh, I should add that I got a couple of books from the library too. They were a great help.

I'm left handed, so I have to reverse everything, which was tricky to begin with.

regards patterns - if you go to wool warehouse (and other wool websites) and then ‘pattern and books’ tab and look along to ‘Format’ then look down and you will see ‘free download’ press that then on page that comes up look on left hand side and press ‘Discipline’ and choose crochet. Currently there are 1730 patterns to choose from (not saying any may be suitable)

    Hope this helps :)

love the daffodil :) really makes spring close (yes I know it is March tomorrow lol). We saw some lovely purple crocuses and some daffodils in our local park and had to laugh at the drakes preening and posing for the female ducks - some looked at the hopeful drake as much as to say ‘really?’ Watched them for ages and made us laugh :)

The 6 (+1) are for a GS blanket

The 4 are for a cardigan

Pale dusky pink, silver and yellow are for a cushion cover, hopefully to match the curtains (hence the tieback)

The second paler pink is for some flower applique for another blanket.

The little packets are stitch markers and a set of darning needles.

I also bought a bag of toy stuffing.

@ Sea_Shell the ones for the cushion cover are really well matched looking at the tie back (thought it might be a bag strap) - what shape cushion cover and how are you going to use the colours? Main colour then appliqué with the other colours made into shapes? Or something else?

What is a GS blanket - do like the colours and will love to see it when it is finished and all the other things :)

With the yarn left over you could make little toys for your toy stuffing? You will be busy !

    Thank you for sharing :)
