Crikey it’s certainly doing the rounds. Hope you manage to dodge it. You’re doing well with your books challenge.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪2 -
I’m loving my reading again at the moment. Which is helping keep my personal spends in check. Most of my books have been second hand or gifts this year 😊

Thanks to littlest having a huge episode of coughing, I am now wide awake while he’s peacefully back asleep. The whole house was up at one point there due to the noise and eldest sorting himself out from a late shift at work.
I didn’t update yesterday as work was long, having a knock on effect on dinner and bath time. I did manage to stay awake long enough to snuggle under the heated blanket with Mr D to watch an episode of New Lives in the Wild. Always a comfort watch for some reason!Well, that was a sufficiently boring diary update to send me back to sleep 😂.

Thank you @DancingInTheRain and @Honeysucklelou2 it wasn’t such a bad day and I’m feeling okay. More than ready for the half term break though!
That’s Little Miss now finished for the half term break leaving just me and littlest if he’s well enough to complete the week.
I really don’t have too much else to update on as work and poorly little one have consumed my week. I’m looking forward to spending time at home over the next week and have very little planned. Mum has a jigsaw waiting for me and Mr D has just presented me with an early birthday gift in the form of my next Throne of Glass book so I’m well set. Considering how much money I have left in my bank to last till payday, it’s a good job I’m feeling content with those and my heated blanket 😂. I also have plenty of blank cards and paints, plus what I need for embroidering bookmarks so I may try to get ahead with some Christmas gift-making too.
Happy Friday Eve to those who celebrate 😊PBs £3050 (including £1k EF & £1k Christmas fund)

I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed this morning. Last day nerves I think as my to-do list is long, and I desperately want to leave for the half term break without stresses hanging over me.
Littlest has finally slept the whole night through so I hope he feels well enough to be in school today and see the week out.PBs £3050 (including £1k EF & £1k Christmas fund)
