feeling a bit brighter today! had a bit of a clean up and entering new totals on here.

Still off the caffiene which is getting easier by the day, also trying to stay off wheat and dairy as my eczema is driving me crazy and am sick of the fatness. Its a bit difficult when your on an os diet but i'm trying my best :D

    right so new debt totals are;

    Loan £11123.11
    forma £1028.11
    overdraft £1500
    Total £13651.21

So i've paid off £1028.06 this year so far!

Not managing to pay off a lot at the minute as hols are only next week so most pennies are being reserved for all my waxing and hair doings for that!

Although still quit chuffed that i've paid off that much since i've not worked this year and i've been saving for a holiday as well. :D

So off to carry on with the housework and volunteering at daisy's easter fayre this afternoon (yuk, lots of smelly infant school kids)

    happy saving all xxx

Still in debt but happy

Well done Laura, you're doing really well! As for your eczema a good OS remedy is a handful of oatmeal in a warm bath or if you have any muslin left put some in a piece of muslin and tie the muslin to the tap and let the warm water run through the make-shift bag. This will help ease your eczema. I use this particular remedy myself.

Right you've got to go on a mission now to find £28.12 and get that debt down to 3 figures. I find it makes such a pyschological difference, for me anything in 3 figures in a 'small' debt and therefore the light is at the end of the tunnel.

Have fun at the fayre, shall I send you NSD vibes, to help you get through the event?

right i'm having a look through all my figures ready for next week.

I have paid off £3.10 off my debts today leaving me with £30 to draw out. This weeks budget needs to include hairdressers £44, bikini wax £6, petrol £10 and any food I might need. Thats a total of £60. So minus the £30 i'm drawing out this aft I need another £30 so things are looking good for another small payment on the forma account before I go.

I've got £300 in my savings which i've scheduled to transfer to my current account while i'm away, that, plus the money that'll go in while i'm away will cover the bills and next months loan payment so a big chunk will have come out when I get back.

Also as another kind of bonus there'll be a weeks worth of money in my current account untouched when I get back as I'm not going to be using that account card while i'm over there

I've got about $900 dollars in cash to myself and also about £120 in my barlays account which has got a visa debit on it so thats the one i'm going to be spending on while i'm over there.

right now i've got that down in writing it feels a lot more budgeted and thought out than it was at first.

I just hope I dont have to be so tight with money when i'm over there. I hate feeling like i'm missing out
but if i'm there for 14 days and i've got $900 that works out at roughly $64 a day which i reckon should be easy to stick to?

So anyway back to the debs....

I've paid £3.10 off today leaving my totals at

    Loan £11123.11
    forma £1025.01
    overdraft £1500

giving me a new debt total of £13648.12 meaning i've paid off £1031.16 so far this year.

New statement is due for the forma account which means that charges and interest will have gone on but i'll check up on that when I get back and update it accordingly.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
