@Miró Poor Daffers! I LOVE that picture. I was lucky to get one which is of a local place and cost £5 all beautifully framed, again by a local shop. Now situated above my bed.

This reminds me how lucky I am to live near the sea! It's said that no one in England is more than 2 hours from the coast, I get the real thing for free on my doorstep😁.
Eta: inspecting a map, it looks like those along the M40 corridor between Oxford and Birmingham would be the worst off - but then you have plenty of sites of historical interest right on your doorstep.
Yesterday I couldn't resist some BNWT jeggings for just £1.50. I had never heard of the brand - Noppies - so google it on my return. They apparently cost EU 65….and are a maternity brand 🙃

I bought a few dresses from charity shops the other day and I have dyed them all red so now I have a Spring and Summer wardrobe.
We are lucky to live by the sea as Rosa said. I took some pics of our local area at the weekend.13 -
I do envy people who live near the coast, I'm sure it's nicer than the River Thames but I think I've grown such deep roots here now that I couldn't move away.
I did manage to visit the Oxfam shop near Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester yesterday morning and a rather nice thrift shop on the other side of the street but was too tired to go any farther.
I'll pop up some photos of the bits I bought later when I heave myself off the sofa but, for now, I spotted this Charity Shop Detective Agency Mysteries series online and wondered if anyone has read them?

@goldfinches - we are technically Thames estuary although I playfully refer to it as the Essex Riviera. The true Essex backwaters can be foundsome 30 miles north east (the River Blackwater) and is covered in bugs come summertime. We just get thugs with machetes daytripping from London here!
Joking aside, the water in the east of the shoreline has been lovely and clear lately. I wouldn't want to enter it, although plenty do!

I love this picture and have a couple of similar ones, is it Berwick on Tweed?

I would so much love to live by the sea. I’m only about 12 miles away, but am constantly on Right Move (except when I’m on Vinted😂) looking at coastal properties.
This afternoon I found these lovely pink and grey leather Converse in great condition. £20
