My shopping turned out to be a little more expensive than planned! Sadly there were no F&V boxes at Mr L today, but I came away from Mr T with an air fryer. I'm finally joining the masses. It was reduced to £36 so I thought it was worth a gamble at that price. I have no idea where I'm going to keep it though, that's the first comment everyone has made! I did some chips in it for DH and the kids and they turned out well, I just need to sort my timings out. I'm quite impressed so far, but it's not a large one, so it won't be replacing the oven.

A survey cashout to add today.

I gained 1/2lb at SW which is a miracle, so I'll take that. I thought it was going to be a big gain again. Thankfully my out of control cravings seem to have subsided so I am eating like a normal person again.

Little miss has been to her club, and her friend's parents did the shuttling today so we didn't have to rush around. She has a week off next week, and then we'll return the favour.

I was browsing FB earlier and spotted an advert for a pop up shop with free books in the next town. We decided to go over and have a look once little miss came home, and we have come back with a huge pile of books! I wasn't expecting anything to be there as apparently it's been open 2 weeks, and today was the last day. But they had loads. It was all free but with optional donations. We did make a decent donation, and they got more than they probably would have if they'd been charging for the books. It was done by charity and a great idea. Apparently it will be back next year, so we'll probably visit again if we realise it's on. Even DH picked out a few and he's not a reader. Little miss picked loads, and I had a little pile too. Little miss is reading adult books now so I'll probably dip into hers too. She was pretty good though, she kept coming over to check I would allow her the ones she was picking.

It's very wet out again, so another afternoon with books planned. I love not feeling pressured to be doing stuff.

The pop up book shop sounds fabulous. I love books, always have done since I was old enough to pick one up.

I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪

Thank you all, I agree. The problem is there's so many books and so little time! We came back with 39 books in total. I actually had fewer than the others, but that's mostly because I have so many on my to be read piles both paper books and on my kindle. It's probably about 1000 on my kindle alone 🤦‍♀️ I keep borrowing from the library too, so don't make much of a dent in them 😆

I'm planning on doing Jolabokaflod this year and getting us all books to open on Christmas eve.
