That question was asked in the first replies to the OP.Grey_Critic said:Why the concern that someone can find out if it is Motability vehicle ?
Why would it matter whether people are aware that you have a mobility car or any other type of car?
So far no responses from the OP to any post.0 -
To answer that, there was a spate of idiots damaging supposed Motability vehicles. Due to their lack of understanding that the cars are not free. As spouted by many.Albermarle said:

Hey folks, sori for taking a while. The reason I asked is because you do get idiots damaging motability vehicles, and also some friends/family can be judgementtal if/when they find out you have a motability car, judging on the disability etc, many jealous idiots out there too lol xx

A Motability vehicle is no different from any other - It is a CAR. You actually have the same responsibilities as anyone else. The vehicles are inspected on a regular basis by Motability and you will be required TO PAY for any damage not covered by the insurance. You cannot modify the vehicle in any way without permission from Motability (approved modifications for disabilities are allowed)0

Are they? I've been with Motability for almost 10 years and the only time my cars have been inspected is at the end of my lease. Even then this isn't done by Motability itself, it's done by someone from the dealership and all they've ever done is have a very quick look around the outside.Grey_Critic said:The vehicles are inspected on a regular basis by Motability0 -
They're inspected by the dealership at each service and MOT and a questionnaire type report sent to Motability.poppy12345 said:
