    Do not prioritise appeal.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you ever so much for Simon's email address Bookends.  I really appreciate it.  I have just emailed him and will update when or if I receive a response.

Thanks Coupon-Mad.  Should I wait to hear from Premier Inn then before submitting my appeal to Parkmaven?  Just to double check is it 28 days from the date of the letter issued?  Mine was issued on 19th December 2025.  Therefore, is it working days only as this will affect the closing date significantly with the Christmas holidays.

Its 28 actual days,  ( not working days, not business days. ) so calculate that and submit it close to the deadline,  giving your complaint time to work, no rushing !

    Don't "appeal" to Parkmaven.

Tell them why you will not be paying them.

And at the end state that you are well aware that they send cases to DCB Legal who make court claims and then discontinue them, so move onto other low hanging fruit.

I received an email from the Premier Inn hotel concerned:

    Good Afternoon,

    Thank you for your email,
We are very sorry to hear that you have received a parking fine during your stay here however unfortunately we cannot do anything on site about this and you will need to follow the steps on the letter to appeal.
All the contact details are on the letter

Again we are sorry about this

    Thank you

I'm afraid this is frankly not good enough.  I've read that they do have the power to cancel these NTK's, so will continue to pursue this outcome.

    Agreed. Unacceptable.

Tell them they signed a contract that allows them to cancel PCNs and if the person replying doesn't know that or has been cluelessly instructed to fob off these complaints, then you want it escalated. Ultimately your complaint will go to your MP and to the CEO of Premier Inn.
