NYE a good day to book the flight at the cheapest price?

Looking to book a flight to Delhi in the summer.
The price is pretty decent today. Will it likely be cheaper on NYE, as hardly anyone books flights on NYE.
Momondo stats aren't really helping.

No-one will be able to tell you that. I'd say that if the price today is decent, go for it.
Or to put it another way, if the price has gone up on NYE, will you be kicking yourself if you didn't book today?
But if you do book today, try not look on NYE
Contrary to popular opinion, few airlines have dynamic pricing, where the same seat class price varies day-on-day.2 -
Not everyone has new years on the same day so I'd think it unlikely.
Also the poll and what I heard around and about most people are staying at home so will be scrolling in front of the terrible telly till they can say 'yay' and go to bed.
The nearer the date the last few seats will increase in price only going down, if at all, a day or two before the flight.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

Very unlikely if at all cheaper.
This is from experience. I have looked at flights over the years including Christmas Day and New Years too.
When I am looking at flights, I look every single day without fail for weeks to months on end as I like a bargain and have flown a lot over the decades.
