2026 DECLUTTERING CAMPAIGN Mrs SD - our Year of Redistribution

MadamMim, almost 9lb each, cracking job.
DD1 is having her blue cotton velvet curtain back. She still has the other one. She wants to use them at her patio doors until she finds what she wants. They were originally at my Mum's patio doors for donkeys years. Luckily I had a spare curtain from the last house so that is now up at the landing window.
The jumper I have worn today will be washed and donated. I don't think it does much for me. I have got a Christmas wreath to be donated too.

Saturday was a dull chilly day with a high of 15°C, low of 10°C & a brisk W wind making it feel 4° cooler 🥶 I had a large amount of mail to deal with so have spent the afternoon dealing with it. Dinner was chicken fried in a little oil, boiled new potatoes, peas & sweetcorn. Wudupa
1730 - 1735 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, 2 magazines, booklet, 0.5” paperwork - recycled
1736 Kitchen detritus - binned
suzeesu2000, ouch 😣 but great work paying all your bills & having enough left over to cover the electric bill 😊 Sending 💐 for your DF’s daughter- such a lovely thing to do ☺️ & sounds like a treasure trove behind the sideboard drawer 😉 Well done on decluttering all the newspapers 👏 Oh wow, how marvellous to see a red squirrel 🐿️ they are usually so shy 🤩 Very exciting that work on your new kitchen will be starting soon 😁 & it sounds like you have a good plan to store the large white goods whilst the work is being done ☺️
TC77, I was actually going to bed - completely out of sync with my sleep patterns 😔 Hopefully the train wasn’t too slow 🤞
MadamMim2013, great work making 2 Tip runs 👏 Definitely easier to sort the garage when there is less in it 😉 An amazing weight loss - 4kg each 🤩 A medal🏅🏅for each of you. Wishing you both continued success on your weight loss journeys ☺️ What a lovely way to reward yourselves 🥹
Excellent decluttering in the ROD Florenceem 👏 A medal 🏅 is on its way. The bunting is wonderful 😊 is there no end to your crafting talent 🥹 So lovely to have a visit from your daughter & granddaughter 🥹 Hope you enjoyed your roast chicken dinner.
suzeesu2000, my DSis had to give herself the 2nd injection 😥 luckily only minimal side effects this time 😮💨 Seems odd that you cannot use your own choice of carrier - especially for a large parcel 🤨 A busy day of decluttering & tidying tasks 👏
Yorkie1, you have been busy & got such a lot done 👏 The beef casserole sounds delicious 😋 You could have added the wine & frozen the rest in ice cube trays & then transferred to freezer bags - available for the next time 😉 Good luck using the JW app 🍀
MadamMim2013, intentional or not it was an excellent start to decluttering weight 👏
vulpix, lovely that the curtains are getting so much use 😊
All caught up again 😊 Sleep tight 😴

Well done @MadamMim2013 - that is an amazing weight loss 💐. I’m still at my retreat - returning home today. I was doing well with resisting the delicious desserts until yesterday when the home-made tiffin cake was brought out just when I was feeling tired and my resistance was low 🤦♀️.

Morning, the heating is on and went back to bed while the house warmed up . Hoping to make some inroads this morning into tidying, decluttering and cleaning. Will report back later.

Ckearrd out my purse. There were so many cards that were obsolete, out of date, and reward cards for shops that no longer exist. Have been stagnant on everything else in the house.

Morning everyone, hugs to these who need them.
More sells this week more to upload over the next few days, loads of packing used up.
We had a camp chair is out from the holiday that DS had been using but hasn't for a few weeks now so that has been put away. Emails and photos have been deleted.
Booked to go to the pumpkin farm on Saturday, just need to book DS's birthday party and our family Christmas event out.
My mum is buying DS toys every week so I can't get a handle on them as some go out then more come in to replace them, if anyone has anyone ideas on how I can stop it it would be appreciated as we have Christmas and his birthday coming up.
DS got star of the week at school and a very good parent evening.
I have been crafting but I have ideas and then start a new one and then another one before I have finished the ones before.
I have started a bag for the charity shop, I have a bag of blisters packs that I kept forgetting to take them with me.
Take care everyone

Deb4 - I think all crafters have wips and ufos. I plan to sort out and complete them - won't set a time limit as I often get jobs to do - alterations/repairs so they get done first.
Bestie arrived to collect me and gave me a Christmas present which I had to undo straight away - her words. It is a lovely canvas from a photo - it shows my Mr F with his arms aloft and beaming while praising God. I will get young J to hang it in the lounge.
Went to Church via the charity shop with my donations. The shop took £130+ on Friday - only open from 9 - 1.
My bestie climbed on a chair and hung the bunting in the Church foyer.
Decluttered - 3 packs of yarn, rubber gloves, Christmas hats, Christmas tea towels, bag of press studs & hooks and eyes, candle, pair of slippers, scrabble game, cloth bag, box, 4 pairs of socks, bag, toiletries, bag of plastics recycling, and balls of baby yarn.,
I put on 2lb this week.

@suzeesu2000 I am so pleased you have seen a little red. They used to come to my caravan in the north west and I really miss them - they are very special creatures. I loved to watch them play hide and seek with each other around the tree trunks and they mostly asked very nicely for the food boxes to be refilled.
Congratulations to all who have lost weight and to @Florenceem for adding weight.
Decluttered my plaster cast and hoping to be rid of the leg brace soon. Everything still painful so some healing still to happen. One dress to go to CS and some shredding done. Loads more admin to do tomorrow and hopefully some more papers to go. Continuing the food and toiletries use ups which are both going well. It is so much less stressful when there is less in the fridge and cupboards as there isn’t the constant pressure to use things up before they reach their bb or use by dates.

Hurrah about the cast being decluttered!! Been there, done that (well for wrists at least). Such a relief!!
