Morning all.
I am feeling really down. I was okay when I came home after 3 days at my son's house. I was away 10 days this last time and we had the funeral.
My granddaughter who was away on holiday when the funeral was held came to see me yesterday.
Bestie and I had a phone call lasting 1 hour 10 mins last night. She invited me to join her family at the cinema - Spiderman followed by food at her house. I was also invited to a meal at hers on Sunday after Church. I have declined both invites.
I missed 2 Sundays of Church while I was away.
I am angry that J has done this to his parents. They have been to the first therapy already. My son is on medication.
I tried to transfer money to my son's account last night - I needed my card reader - no idea where it is. I used to keep it in the top drawer of a set of rainbow drawers. When I am dressed - I will attempt to find it in the garage. If not - the bank is open this morning.

Hi all, thought I'd share a couple of photos with you, meant to post them before 😁
The bottom photo was taken by a friend and I love the bird sitting on the chimney pot 😁.
Goodish couple of days here, 4 LDFPA, meds collected, bedroom recycling, large bunch of rhubarb and 2 large trays given to OH, pair of earrings and a necklace put in the cs bag, 3 more vases washed and rehomed, a bag of bits from the budgies cage sorted and mostly binned but 2 bird toys put in cs bag. I was amazed when I found these as the bird has been dead about 15 years, no idea why they were still there. 100 emails deleted. 2 bathroom overstock uu and bottles recycled and a session in the garden to fill the green waste bin after it had settled.
2 big covers taken off the couch in the conservatory and put on the line and given a good beating so lots of dust decluttered. They will need a wash and are so big I will probably take them to the bag wash to use one of their big machines but they can wait a bit as I am going to try to dismantle the couch, ikea special so it should be easy 🤣, so I have a bit more space temporarily in the conservatory. This will be my job for today. We are going to visit our singing friend this evening. She runs a couple of choirs and has a couple of gatherings every year, pity I can't sing for toffee 🤣 but it is nice to see everyone and singing isn't compulsory 🤣.
@vulpix I share the green waste bin with my Ln to split the cost. Ln has a very tidy garden so never fills it but wanted to have the use of it, it works quite well and might be something to think about depending on your neighbours. I do still at times end up taking bags to the tip when I do a big couple of sessions but it is easier having a bin to put the odd weed in collected when passing 🤣
Sorry I haven't caught up on the posts as I am on my phone so I'll say hugs to anybody who would like one. You will all be pleased to hear it is raining here right now 😁.

Take care everyone

I had a rubbish night last night - I went through mega tiredness at around 6pm and by the time it was bed-time I was wide awake again. So it was 2 am before I felt tired enough to venture up to bed. Nothing much is planned for today as I can't think straight.
However, an early trip to the shops was made as my fall last week meant I realised I'd decluttered just about all of the bandage hoard I had in France before I came back due to it's age - I'd taken a lot of it out with me in Jan 2007 and some of it was old then as I had acquired it when clearing my fathers house the year before. I think it will be another week before the knee heals enough that I don't have to protect it and can get back to using it. 😔
In preparation for the tip run on Monday I've pulled out all the old wood I can reach that was left by the sellers stacked under the tool shed work bench. The last few bits require crawling under there so that's being left to DS1 on Monday.
First wash load has been decluttered to the washing machine and once it's finished I'll peg it out, start the dishwasher and declutter myself back to bed. It seems like a waste of the day but previous experience tells me that otherwise I will wander round faffing not achieving anything and feel just as wiped out tomorrow. It's a real shame as the weather is so much cooler today. But there's always tomorrow. 😁
Hugs to those who would like one and love to you all. Dxx

Hello everyone
@Florenceem , I'm so sorry you are feeling down and that you & your family are going through such a difficult time.
I've been away for a few days visiting DD2.
On my way, I managed to drop off a box of 39 books in the post locker which I've sold to WoB. Took me ages to find a big enough box but a friend came to the rescue.
A kind friend offered to take some of my stuff to the tip on Monday so I gathered a pile of garden rubbish, old light bulbs, broken fairly lights and a kettle.
I've dropped off my soft plastics at the SM.
I had carrots and peppers in my veg box and made lentil and pepper soup, including using up some celery from the fridge - 4 portions in the freezer ready for the colder weather 😋
Hugs to anyone struggling at the moment.
Love Deni

@Florenceem thinking of all you and all the family, there are some wonderful charities that may help at this time with talking and counselling as this is such a difficult and sad time.
Maanged about 15 frogs, calls, emails etc, but also added some to the list. Embroidery thread and book to cs bag, more paper and digital declutter, 8 batteries recycled and item returned.also bank and membership cards cut up. Will update nos tomorrow.

Pleased to say I did tackle the work admin this morning- at least getting it in to an ordered state - there wasn't quite as much outstanding as I'd feared. In the process I decluttered 3 completed notebooks.
Did a few "sorting" things in the garden including cleaning out the spare wheelie bin so it's now garden storage. I've put some leaf-patterned adhesive vinyl on it.
As it was a little cooler we went on a nice walk this afternoon through the woods to the local garden centre with DS & treated myself to a shrub.

Liverpool Anne, I know what you mean about paying for the green waste. I have pros and cons. I will have to wait and see how I get on. I expect I will find I can't make very good compost with just tea bags and banana skins!
Chuffin bunk beds didn't happen. They have had 5 coats of paint and are still not covering and patchy in places. I will just keep painting them until the paint is used up. What did happen was a lot of bushes cut down in the back garden and 2 tip runs with full ton builders bags . A massive brick barbecue was knocked down and the bricks chucked on the drive. A job for me to sort them out. I think I will keep them a while to see if they come in handy. A few can go in the front garden as stepping stones.
The heavy planter was delivered to my friends house. I am on a mission to reduce the number of plants in pots I have. DD1 is visiting tomorrow, I will try to send her home with some plants. She has a huge garden so can get stuff in the ground. I just can't bin healthy plants, I need them to go to a good home.😂 There are 2 plants in the front garden I want to dig up and give away. I bought 3 but 2 of them although they are very nice have turned out to be the wrong colour.
I have finished off the 2 blankets I have been making. The baby blanket is soaking overnight. It was donated new white wool but was a bit grubby on the outsides of the balls.
Take care all Vx

listed all the “to go” glass & ceramic bakeware on Vinted last evening, woke to 3 sales this morning. Very grateful.
Quiet hot day again. This heat is starting to wear me down, especially as there has been no respite.
Dinner yesterday and today for us both was freezer. Definitely seeing a reduction.
