😀 wish I could say it was something exciting!! I was having trouble with my pad thing so thought I maybe had too much tabs open. Logged out of everything, wrote down things I was keeping some tabs open for (like id seen a wonderful picture of the red arrows and concorde which i want to buy one day etc), then couldn't get logged back in. I've had several very helpful emails from the team but it just would not send me a reset password link. I got used to just reading along although it was a pain so I tried logging in again, no luck. More helpful responses from the mse team but still no reset email would arrive, then I thought I'd try old password again just on the off chance and it worked 😅 😀

Saturday is a grey cloudy day windy but dry. I had a better night as I only woke twice for bathroom visits - 03:45 & 07:30 - then getting up at 08:15. We finished most of the packing before going to breakfast. Buffet style breakfast for everything apart from eggs which were cooked to order. DH restricted himself to bread with a couple of slices of bacon & a pastry with coffee & juice. Whilst I had a bit of haggis, a rasher of bacon, a sausage, a few mushrooms & a tablespoon of baked beans. Also had a slice of toast & marmalade + juice & coffee. Today we are heading to Forres, east of Inverness. DH has checked the weather forecast & it should be dry but chilly. I will wish you all a good day & will see you later 👋

DS says he is still decluttering. I asked him to convince DD to move the big stack of boxes she has "on display" to the loft so she can actually display her nice things. I asked DS because she is copying him, so it's his fault. DS was sorting out his room, so I told DD that he was decluttering and sorting his room and DD said "I want to" and ran up to see what was happening. They are now both in DD's room reorganising. Not sure how much decluttering is happening, but the boxes will be going in the loft!
DS did have a stack of paperwork last night and the good fairy sorted out some stuff he left outside his room this morning. I've still got a little bit of space in the charity bag, so watch this space… I have a vague aim to use up all the packaging in the cupboard by getting rid of things, so let's see what happens.
I did tell DS I got rid of 100 things out of DD's room and you can't tell the difference. DS went to have a look and agreed it looks exactly the same. I said DS could get rid of 500 and you wouldn't be able to tell 😂

Morning all.
I am going out today after 2 days at home.
I was saying to my bestie - how much I have to sort in the - to be guest bedroom. Bestie said - look at how much you have done - got rid of furniture and lots to the charity shop in town + to her shop and stuff to schools craft cupboards + Freegle.
I have a bit of ironing to do when I get home. Then I will work on sorting the stuff in the old office.

Good to see you back Daisy, I had a similar problem in the past, though I wasn't very proactive, just randomly tried logging in occasionally! Eventually it worked.😂
Great pic Mrs SD.
Off to see DD1 soon. Not seen her for ages, she has been away a couple of weeks in Shetland and then busy with her new job routine. So far so good. She is all but working from home now so is making time to go out in the evenings as she lives alone and needs some face to face interactions.
More holey socks in the rag bag.

A few more bits gone. I'm taking the opportunity to have a scout around DD's room whilst she is out. She has so much stuff that's squirreled away! I have removed loads of craft stuff from her desk as the drawers were so full and mainly moved it all to a big box in her current storage that was empty. I know she never bothers to open those boxes, so I am hoping she'll enjoy the less stuff in the drawers and actually be able to find things and use them.

Will report tonight but just cleaned the sole of my slippers, worse than football boots as tiny grooves so sharp implement and toothbrush, will count as a declutter. I clean my floors often so abit scary what's in the bottom of my 3 month old slippers. Dd1 moved and a small side board is coming to me so been deep cleaning where it will go. Will be mainly a cat 🐈 belonging cupboard, food etc.
Also doing the sinks

I think we've removed around 150 things from DD's room now (with some reorganising/tidying) and I would say it looks marginally better. We could definitely do a bit more, but I think that's going to be it for a while unless DD grows out of things, uses things up or realises she doesn't need them (with the exception of her paper drawer that is getting overrun and she will have to go through soon).

There was a breeze when I went out - not now.
I fed the birds and took donations to the charity shop before I went to Lid.
I have done the ironing and just having a break from sorting upstairs. Daughter M just been here with the loose tea I asked her to get.
I have a lot ready for J's charity shop,
