2 large jars, a dozen coat hangers, a DVD, 3 books, 2 plates and 2 bowls ready to go in car for CS.
A few more papers off the reading pile and into recycling.
Made a difficult phone call this morning and dealt with the ensuing mess. Hopefully all sorted now - will not know for certain until next week. V pleased I didn't allow it to become a frog.

@Dizzycap Thank you and I'm rooting for Babyface. It's so worrying when you know they are chronically ill.
@vulpix Those spinning plates from the weekend variety shows of our youth have so much to answer for. 🤣 Funnily enough, Rollo, as a diminutive for Roland, is a name I'm considering for the ginger cat (which I managed to feed this evening). 😁
Thank you @Yorkie1 Today has been much more relaxed if not more productive yet.
@Mrs_Salad_Dodger I am always in awe of the cheerleading you do. I'm far more relaxed now that the ball is rolling as the saying goes and am looking forward to seeing what they propose to do. It's still not a given but there is a lot that they can do if the modelling can show a 12% improvement in efficiency. I've got up to an 8 week wait for the decision but I'm very happy to get on with the garden in the meantime. 🌻🌻
@BlueJ94 I love Christmas cacti 😍 I'm gradually building a collection of different colours. My friend is bringing me a cutting of her variegated tradescantia at the end of this month which I see you have as well.
Today I decided to take myself to Mr L's and purchased a large garden storage box which I'm hoping will help keep the garden tidier. It can get windy here and the bags for garden waste recycling, despite being weighted have been blowing around the garden along with the large but empty flowerpots. I'm hoping this will keep them all in one place.
On route, I decluttered a reel of wire back to Scr3wfix and then got 2 'free' bags of sugar from FarmF00ds. 😁 Basically they had the cat food I use for £23.99, I added their offer of 2kg of sugar for £1.70 which took me to £25.69. That meant I could use their £2 off a £25 spend with the final spend being £23.69. 😁 Thank you MSE for tutoring me in this. 🤣 The sugar is being stockpiled ready for the next round of jam making.
The rain today didn't disperse as early as forecast so I popped over to DS1's and decluttered a large bag of plaster and some jointing tape to him ready for when he redoes part of his kitchen ceiling. His property was flipped before he purchased it and he's had to have the roof replaced on an extension to the kitchen. In the process it was discovered that there was no insulation at all in the roof space which explains why the kitchen is so cold in winter. So getting insulation in there and replacing damaged plasterboard is his upcoming 'holiday' job as they spent the holiday fund on the new flat roof!
I have fingers crossed for a pleasant day in the garden tomorrow declutter yet more weeds and finishing pruning the camellias. I was hoping to get more compost today at Mr L's but they'd sold out again. I'm hoping that they'll get more in on the Sunday delivery.
Hugs to all who want and love to you all. Dxx

Morning all. I had a better night - no need for pain killers or a new freezer pad.
Wet start here.
Felt strange coming downstairs to a dim room because the blinds were closed. I do like the blinds.
I will carry on with emptying the small ROD. I had forgotten what colour the walls were - they are pale pink. I will have Timeless on 3 walls - not sure what colour on window wall which will be the feature one.
J is doing something for a neighbour then may come here - I would like the outside wall painted.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Hi everyone
Not much decluttering going on here but I have accelerated my digitial decluttering by permanently deleting over 3.5k emails! My email provider has warned me I soon won't be able to send or recieve emails as they are limiting mailbox size in a few weeks - I can't actually see what the limit is. I need my personal email account for some self employment so was in a panic yesterday!
Trying to make sure I delete 100s a day - boring but necessary.
I am building up a pile of stuff to take to the tip but won't count it till it's gone.
Love to all
Deni

Having a lazy Saturday, well as lazy as you can with 2 border collies at home.
Sat down and worked out a payment plan to pay off the car so feeling more organised.
Debt Free - 4th June 202513 -
J arrived and got to work painting the outside wall. He used all the 5 litres of masonry paint. It will need a second coat but looks so much better than the grey breeze block colour - I had bought Anthracite.
J forgot to bring a wrench with him to adjust my wonky sewing machine table.
I carried on with emptying the small room of doom.
I have a lot ready for bestie's charity shop. She will pick me up for Church tomorrow but her car is already full. We will probably go early so we can unload the car before the service.
J is back to work on Monday but I will get his mum to call here after school to collect the art & craft bits that are languishing in my hall. His mum told me about the passing of a head teacher - D where she used to work. I was in the same year group at school as D.
I will ask builder J to call here - I need something to anchor the door into the garden as the wind blows it. The gap is too much for a usual length cabin hook. I also want him to look at the skirting board in the small ROD - big gap at the wall. Plus I have a metal sign that I want on the wall in my craft room.
Decluttered - jewellery stand x 2, wooden stamp x 40, scarf, storage tray, pack of 6 pairs of socks, bag of fabric scraps, pkt of Christmas wrapping paper, 19 pkts of envelopes, 3 coils of rope, 3 pkts of tissue paper, embroidered bag, set of 4 pairs of ladies socks, 3 rolls of injury tape, card, pkt of 5 pairs of ladies socks, 5 pairs of men's socks, hot wheels car x 3, cushion cover, white voile fabric, Body Shop soap, plastic bags, bag of foam sheets, magazine x 5, knitting booklet, folder inserts, knitting patterns, greeting card fronts, 3 tablecloths, PVC fabric, 3 stencils.

Florenceem if you can imagine 3 bits of wood joined in a U shape. I slid that under/along the door so it was held front and back by the wood. One side of the U had a hole drilled through and I used a bit of bent rebar (but you could easily use a tent peg or similar) to go through the hole and down into the ground. That stopped our door swinging about and we could hold it fully open right down to only open a few inches. It swung out over concrete so we had a few holes drilled in it but if it was swinging out over grass it would be even more adjustable
