Been to Church with my bestie.
After the service popped into my friend's charity shop - got a couple of mirrors - largest one will go in the guest bedroom.
Had quite a bit of pain last night when I was trying to get off to sleep - had to take painkillers.
Remembered about the clocks changing but felt groggy this morning.
While tea was brewing I opened the airing cupboard - 13 reams of paper - going to my daughter's school.
I am off to a meeting at my old corps this afternoon.

Yes, you did read correctly, DD usually goes with her dad to visit London and her sister and that is the only night she stays with him. She refuses to sleep over at his house.
She did go on a school trip for two nights last year.

Hello, creeping back in after being missing in action. Real life events has meant decluttering taken a back seat for a while. A family member is quite ill and having treatment in hospital currently. Has been a lot to process and come to the realisation that we are not invincible and life is too short.
But still need to majorly declutter. My floordrobe has grown, shopping for clothes is my therapy. I struggle to get rid of clothes or pass things on. Any tips greatly appreciated as feel overwhelmed by at times by it all.
Did a tip run today with stuff from the garden and then cleared and tidied the boot. Counting 100 items.
Now off to read 265 posts to catch up on everyone's news.

It’s taken a couple of days but now it’s done, not sure if it’s going to stay as it is but at least I can access it now. Tidy airing cupboard job jobbed.
Transferred a lot of medical stuff down to the drawer unit in the hall, much better. Sadly found a few items had expired, I don’t worry about expiry dates as a rule but certain medicines can become toxic when they expire I read so have erred on the side of caution. They will go back to pharmacy for safe disposal.
Coralled all dressings and bandages into one smaller tote. All spare toiletries in the other and fits nicely. I only buy toiletries when they are on sale or reduced in which case I stock up.Next to the airing cupboard, There was a lovely white unit which has wicker drawers with the cloth liners which held lots of medical stuff. That’s now redundant but can be put to good use in my bedroom. Bought some pots of tester paint to paint it to match rest of bedroom furniture and should have enough to paint the tops of two bedside units that look a bit scruffy. Also got some Matt varnish to top them so should brighten bedroom up a bit for about a tenner.
Lovely roast beef dinner today with lots of veggies: cabbage, cauli, sweet potatoes, parsnips, swede and roast potatoes of course. Everything from fridge and meat from freezer, before Christmas purchase when half price. Only LOs are some meat and a few potatoes.
Had another sale on Vinted, got several items to list on eBay and Vinted ready for pay day this week.

Went to a 2 hour meeting at my old corps.
After that meeting I had a lazy afternoon.
Need to get up early tomorrow as the laminate is being laid. Will do a sweep round before they start. I am hoping it is all done in one day even though they have allowed 2 days for the job.
Builder J will be here on Wednesday to do the skirting boards. I will see if he can come on Tuesday if the laminate is finished. Then J can get on with the painting.
Decluttered - cardboard box, wooden box, instruction leaflet, 13 reams of paper.

Thanks Vulpix I look forward to seeing the photos. I've been putting this off for too long. I hate my current lounge / dining room and have the money set aside for new windows in the back including changing the dining window to patio doors, replastering both rooms and decorating but I'm dreading the upheaval, I need to put on my big girl pants and do it!
If she remembers her decisions I had a productive visit with my friend on her flat clearance and what she wants to keep, although having said that she does flick between asking me to run by her most things and telling me to get house clearance in to save me the bother! I've told her I'm saving most of the furniture in it until it goes on sell and has viewing so people can see it's a big flat.
I spent about two hours there after visiting her and ensured the items she had said she definitely wanted when they move her and she has a bigger room are put aside. About 75% of the kitchen contents are cleared and waiting for rehoming, I'm debating about taking her Pyrex glass casserole dishes (5) to a CS or rehoming on the local free cycle page on FB the same with her saucepans. Two big bags of books are in my car for Petworth on Wednesday. I've put aside a book of poems which I think was her mothers dated 1936 inside and another old one she brought secondhand decades ago she used to tell me she could remember her father reading it to her and her died when she was six. I think having been read Hereward The Wake at that young age may explain a lot! I keep finding more book! I think another 8 or 10 large bags to go but I may have to make them smaller loads
It's a shame she wants to move as she is settling in with the staff it seems a lot are from the Andaman Islands which is where her mother was born and my friend although born in Hong Kong lived there for a short while as a child.Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin16 -
Hey Ho long time no post and arrived at a post mid February, so it's been a few hectic weeks 🙄. I'm so sorry to hear about Luna's cut paw - bless her. I had to laugh at not being amused because she can't go off lead, until she did, and her paw bled 😲😕😯. Hoping she heals soon 😘😘.
I'm hoping to start trying to catch up on a few decluttering posts but as it's been hectic with 24/7 babyface for the past month; don't even ask, it'll take me a while to get even close to catching up 😕🙃. I hope everyone is doing ok xxx
Decluttering wise, I've managed to keep all the daily cleaning & bin emptying basics going, along with hovering twice a day; don't ask, daily babyface washing, batch slow cooking babyface's food, decluttering numerous weekly appointments, and cluttering up & decluttering medication - it's just as well I don't really sleep much -Unfortunately, not by choice 😥…..
Take care & love to you all. Ta-ta for now xxxxx

Dizzycap - welcome back.
Forgot to take my medication during the evening yesterday but slept okay.
I swept round downstairs so now the air is thick with dust. Don't know what time the laminate chap is arriving
R is doing what hopefully will be the last tip run today.
I found a bag of my clothes so I can unpack them into my new chest of drawers - I will look and see if there is anything to go.
Hope everyone has a good day.

@Brambling personally I would donate the Pyrex, as it is quite sought after, and freegle the pans.
Would it help to make a note of where things have gone so she can look back at it? Not each & every, but groups e.g. Pyrex went to Xx charity shop, bedding has gone to Xx, pink elephants to Yy etc.

Phew, the last bedroom carpet has been fitted. Some touching up to do in there and some shelves putting up then we can begin to put the furniture back. Mr V has opted to keep a large off cut of carpet.😭 It will have to live in the shed until it is thrown away at a later date! We have no use for an off cut of carpet. You can see what I am working with here!😂
Monday is our only day with no commitments so that means it's frog day!🐸 Our frogs atm are drill related. Shelves, pictures, mirrors.Plus copious snagging jobs. Then finding a home for the paints and decorating stuff till we do it all again in other rooms.
Next to be decorated is the landing. Just the gloss for now. 4 doors and banister and spindles. No point in having a new carpet yet as the new bathroom fit starts April/May.
Love to all Vx
