@Brie Thank you. x
@weenancyinAmerica I though it was never-ending but then all of a sudden it became achievable. There was an awful lot of chipping away at it and as the pictures show, it's taken a year just for that area. There's a lot more to do and a lot more junk to shift. 😁 I do hope you have hopeful news from your scans. 🤞🤞x
@Yorkie1 Thank you. x
@Mrs_Salad_Dodger Thank you so much for the ⭐, it's going to be in a place of prominence lighting up that area of the garden. x
@vulpix I tell myself it's the reason I can still move because I know I need the exercise 🤣 I'm always amazes by how much you get done. x
I had a lovely morning mooch around a local town followed by lunch with a friend that I made in SW France and who only lives about 30 minutes away here in South Wales. Then, because the sun was so lovely and warm I managed to squeeze in a bit of weeding once I got home. All in all, a lovely relaxing day. Tomorrow looks to be similar with knitting group in the morning and it looks as though the sun is going to stick around for a few more days too. 😁 I know we need to be careful what we wish for as I really can't cope with the temperature that weeNancy is getting. 🥵🥵
Hugs to all who would like one and love to you all. Dxx

Unfortunately my own house hasn't had any decluttering done recently 😐 except a mug I almost dropped, caught but chipped it anyway, it's my small mug for herbal/fruit tea 😕
Now that the SW as had her recommendation of a permanent care home for elderly friend I can start sorting her flat as it will need to go on the market (unfortunately life time mortgage does mean there will be no funding for her care so all reliant on SW). I ticked off a couple of frogs from her list requiring telephone calls this morning.
I spent the afternoon at her flat the charity bags will need to be stored there until I can take them.
4 large bags for charity and Petworth bookshop - (only one shelve of books from her large bookcase) and some kitchen stuff)
1 large bag of recycling
1 large bag of General rubbish
Emergency call alarm and pendants switched off and payment cancelled I can drop off the kit at library on Friday as I volunteer next door
1 carrier bag of medications which I was told not to give her as hers were changed in the hospital which needs to be dropped off at the chemist next time I go past. Some sloe gin partaken does that count as decluttering?

I think decluttering sloe gin definitely counts @Brambling
The car successfully passed its MOT and major service today - but wasn't quite as expensive as I feared. And I spoke to Greg James, of Radio 1 Red Nose / Comic Relief big tandem ride fame, as he was waiting at the traffic lights to continue his ride this morning! I had pear and ginger muffins in a bag, for our Red Nose Day bake sale at the office next to the lights!!

Just a few bits out the door for me since my last update:-
61) Tummy Control pants - Vitned
62) T shirt - ebay
63-64) Book + bubble mailer - ebay
65) The end of some very very stale bread, too hard to even make croutons
66) Saucepan that had a tiny pinprick hole but big enough for any liquid to escape - bin
Got my new smart meter fitted today. The last one was from when they were first introduced so it needed updating.

Currently doing a bit of work on the motorbike. More TV watching & knitting for me 😉 Dinner was fried chicken & boiled new potatoes for DH & DSis whilst I had lo spaghetti bolognaise. Wudupa.

Just realised I have passed my first decluttering target so am awarding myself a Gold Star ⭐️ I finished the hat & started another. See pic re the last 5 knitted hats:
weenancy, that is uncomfortably hot especially for the back end of winter 🥵 It does make one wonder how a certain person can still think that climate change is a figment of everyone else’s imagination 🤨 That aside, I do hope you can spend a lot of time in air conditioned buildings 🙏 Hope the MRIs go well & are not too uncomfortable 🙏 Very sorry to hear that you are continually having to self diagnose 😔 Gentle cwtches coming your way 🤗
Lovely post Yorkie1 😊
Excellent decluttering Florenceem 👏 Very pleased to hear that you are eating a bit more 😊 Also sounds like you are finally eating a little more ☺️
Excellent decluttering & tidying suzeesu2000 👏 I did have a rueful grin at This “My DH has magical powers. He can turn my nice white cooker into a black one……….” 😄 Sounds a bit like my DH ☹️ although I am usually quick enough to wipe up before anything sets 😉 I will keep everything crossed that the nursing home staff keep your mum & the other residents safe & can get the deep cleaning done quickly 🤞🙏
Floss, that is what DH & I did when we paid off our mortgage early 😊
TC77, great decluttering & excellent work tackling frogs 👏 I am keeping everything crossed that the heating can be fixed & the multi year frogs can be munched sufficiently well before you visit your DD2 🤞🙏 It would be really great if you could thoroughly enjoy your holiday without having frogs on your mind 🥹
weenancy, I echo what _Dolly_Rocker_ has said about hoping the scan results coming back quickly 🙏 Sincerely hope that the doctors can organise a treatment plan swiftly 🙏 Meanwhile I am sending positive thoughts & gentle cwtches 🤗
oceanspirit, yippee to getting rid of the jumper 🥳 Great work on reducing your paperwork & reading material 👏
_Dolly_Rocker_, good luck with your planned housework, organising & decluttering 🍀 I wish you every success with your sales 🙏
Lovely post vulpix ☺️ I am so very pleased for you re both the unexpected call from the muscular skeletal clinic & the extra scans re your liver 🥹 No need to “hang your head in shame” after all your previous experience had led you to believe you would be “fobbed off” again 😞 Good luck with decorating the small room 🍀 I hope you had a lovely time at Bury market & didn’t spend too much 😉
Florenceem, another busy day 👏 Your J is such a wonderful young man 🥹 & your friend R sounds like a lovely man ☺️ Pleased to hear that the trenches are starting to be filled 😊 Hopefully all the work along your road will soon be finished & the road will be fully open 🤞
suzeesu2000, hopefully you can have a quiet Thursday 🤞 I never pay attention to the date on eggs - every egg is subjected to the cold water test even newly bought ones 😉 I imagine you don’t need to ask why 🤢
Excellent decluttering Florenceem 👏
Lovely cheerleading dND 😊 Pleased to hear that you had such a relaxing day 🥹 Fingers crossed you can have a second one 🤞
Brambling, relieved to hear that the decision has been made re your elderly friend 🥹 & I trust that she is happy 🙏 Some excellent decluttering 👏 & sloe gin definitely counts 😉
Yorkie1, great news that your car passed its MOT & got through a major service especially as it cost less than expected 🥳
Lovely to see you purplevamp 👋 Great decluttering 👏
Sleep tight everyone 😴

dND. I am amazed at how little I get done! Even a few years ago I had a lot more stamina. Unfortunately/ fortunately I am like my Mum. Physically old before my time. I hope I will be as sharp as she is when I am 92 though.
Bury was not as busy as I was expecting.New pillows bought. The old ones were just too lumpy after washing. Also bought a couple of tops. I am feeling dowdy atm. 4 balls of bargain £1 wool bought. Just some tamer colours to go with all the brights I was given. Got DS some socks for his upcoming birthday. He hasn't got a pair without holes.
I am not enjoying my knitting so have started something else. Just laziness on my part in getting my head round the pattern.
Lovely knitting , as always Mrs SD.
floriana, re enamelling the bath sounds interesting and very MSE.
Awake from 5am. Fluffy headbutting the bedroom door. Cats not allowed in bedrooms anymore due to lack of paw maintenance on their part! They can't say they weren't warned.
Off to finish the plastering in the small bedroom. Lovely cleaning lady is coming to emulsion the ceiling later. She is such a help with all the difficult bits of decorating. Me n ladders have a chequered past.
Enjoy the lovely weather. Vx

Morning all. Returned from my little trip South. Not too bad a journey back although long holdup on M1 - stopped only 20 miles from home for coffee, loo and walk round and felt better for the last leg of the journey. Nice time - some shopping, trips out etc and will go again in June.
Workmen have plastered bedroom 3 and fitted a loft hatch in hall. Not seen them yet today. Going to take DGD3 to school then go shopping with DS2. Attempted to cancel something on line and gave up as there is no option to do so. Will have to ask DS2.

Morning all. Bright and sunny here
Mrs SD - lovely hats.
I had a better night pain wise - still in my pjs as I only took my tablet when I went up to bed.
I am off out this morning.
Bestie is calling here after 12 to pick up the donations that are sitting in my porch.
Hope everyone has a good and productive day.
