Mrs SD , in awe how you remember what we're all up to. Yep off to see Dd2 soon, however, unfortunately the multi year frogs need munching , and heating still playing up.
10.socks to dd1, 15 wine snd sherry glasses to cs along with a never used towel, some papers out and some frogs moved on. Started this yesterday and major issues with frogs so not had time to catch up but will do.

Thank you everyone - I made it through the two scans today. Total of an hour spent in all that loud noise, but I think my hearing survived. Next Tuesday I find out what the next step is. I am getting anxious as it is getting worse - tingling in both hands now, problems with two fingers swelling up. And the one leg sometimes has to be dragged along the floor as I can't always lift it and sometimes it just seems to go numb. Tingling in both legs. The heat here is not helping - made it all the way to 32C and is supposed to be hotter over the next three days. I did get the watering done, such as it is - one tree, two bushes, and two small planters. Did it at 8 pm as it had cooled down a bit (down to 24C). Added three more books to the bag for the library tomorrow.

Tuesday was a bright sunny day with a high of 15°C (feeling 2° colder due to a S wind) & a low of 10°C A lazy day for all 3 of us although DH did have a bath 😉 He also went out later to the chippie for our dinner. I am 3/4 way through knitting another hat. Wudupa.

GrannyKate, sounds like you are enjoying your visit with DSiL 🥹 Hopefully your journey home will be just as quick 🤞
Moorviews, so pleased to learn that you have persevered & resumed posting 😊 I am still at a loss to explain how the forum changes ever got approval 🤷 as they are almost diabolical ☹️ Excellent decluttering of emails & great work getting your paperwork in order 👏 A medal 🏅 is on its way 😊 Wonderful cheerleading 🥹 💐
vulpix, well done on tackling the MASSIVE frog 👏 A ridiculous system 😖 so I do hope you get a favourable outcome & that you are given an appointment with the doctor 🙏
_Dolly_Rocker_, well done on paying off a chunk of your mortgage, very MSE 👏
Florenceem, more excellent work by your J 👏😊 Very pleased to hear that all the holes re the gas pipe work have now been filled in 😊 That is quite a journey from Catford to your house 😯 but it sounds like he was a really good worker 🥹
Brie, what a palaver 😞 Pleased to hear that you managed a work around & managed to speak to a doctor ☺️
dND, a stupendous achievement 🥳🤩 especially considering how often the weather has prevented working in the garden 🥹 A Gold Star ⭐️ is on its way & thank you for the reminder about taking before & after photos 👏
Oops, just noticed the time so will finish the cheerleading later today. Sleep tight 😴

Lovely to see such progress in the garden dND.
All the best to those having scans and other medical investigations and fingers crossed a diagnosis and treatment plan soon follow.
Finally got rid of a jumper which died nearly 4 years ago. It has been sitting on top of the filing cabinet in the bedroom and it is such a relief that it has gone. I was hoping against all common sense that it could be rescued even though I knew it couldn’t.
Accidentally dropped all the loose papers from the front of my address book onto the floor so went through them before putting back and got rid of a third. I am sure more could have gone but my concentration span is so short these days that I will take it as a win and go through it again another day.
Continuing to work my way through the reading pile and every piece of paper that goes is helping to make things feel less overwhelming. The reading pile and emails are always going to be a problem unless I decide to just ignore everything however that will get me into too much trouble so I will continue for now and prevent things coming in where possible.

@weenancyinAmerica - that is a worry but hopefully the scans come back and they can provide a solution for you. Sending you lots of hugs.

Supposed to be in the office today and tomorrow but decided to WFH.
B&L will be out at lunch time next 2 days with the dog walker so my lunch break will be spent doing housework and organising.
I've decided instead of looking at the whole place to tackle one cupboard at a time.
When the dogs leave I'm gonna clean up the living room then my bedroom and I am going to start tackling the bedroom cupboard one bag or box at a time. Let the decluttering and selling commence.
Determined to sell enough to pay off 2 months of my mortgage - go big or go home right!

Brie, I forgot to say you can only apply online during working hours here too. I don't know how people without IT skills or internet get on.
dND, I think your photo's show the cause of your tiredness and aches. You have worked hard.
BlueJ, I used to do what Floss suggested and those small over payments made a difference and I didn't notice them.
Weenancy, I feel for you, those are just the symptoms I used to have. I am crossing everything for you.xxxx
Well knock me down with a feather. After years of putting it off I have an appointment at the muscular skeletal clinic.Got a phone call mid morning to ask if I could go short notice. yep, sign me up. Also had 2 further calls and the liver consultant wants two more scans/MRI. First one next week. She is nothing if not thorough.❤️NHS, despite all it's problems it is still amazing.
I must hang my head in shame for putting off asking for help. I genuinely thought I would be fobbed off as I have been in the past.
Carpet people booked for the last bedroom in 12 days. The room has been emptied, that's it. Can't make a start cos I have other stuff on till weekend. At least it is a small room. I have gone with very dark blue emulsion. Just need some more hours adding to a day. I am so slow at doing stuff these days.
We are off on a jolly to Bury market in the sunshine. I will make a start on the plastering of the vent in the small room before we go. It will need quite a few treatments before it can be painted over.
Had to throw out a light shade, it had dark green paint on it. A couple of light bulbs have needed replacing.
Take care, Vx

My J arrived before 9 am - he sorted wall cracks and filled them. Then he masked round the light fittings and painted the ceiling. He makes it look easy - he is tall and uses a long handle roller - gets the job down well and quick.
J rubbed down some filled places on walls and then went home. He will be back on Friday to put the first coat of emulsion on the walls.
R came to load his car for the tip. R said - not made much of a dent in the piles. R told me to book two more tip slots for next week - I am so Blessed to have him as a friend and neighbour.
Gas men did the tarmac on trenches near my house so a bit more access. There are still people driving down the road even though signs say - road closed/access only.
I was sorting stuff on my cluttered computer desk. I found some sheets from a 2024 diary. In May 2024 - I was noting changes in Mr F. Poor Mr F was poorly and deteriorating for quite a while.
I am off to count at SA at 4.

A quiet day was on the cards for me. Body just said “nah” so got all my sewing bits together, found something to watch on YT and was set. Was having a lovely rest then an incident occurred which meant me having to be on the phone and texting with various people.
No decluttering except for the bags from dried goods which went into plastic storage containers. Oh and a couple of tiny bits of fabric.
Have a ton of eggs to use, went out of date in Feb but did the cold water test and all are absolutely fine so had eggs and chips for dinner today.Hope everyone’s had a good day, sleep tight xx
