The dress looks lovely, @Laura_Elsewhere. Perfect for wearing immediately after your swim. I hope it protected you from the bitingly cold wind we seem to be having. (Yesterday’s official temperature here was an amazing 14C. With windchill the weather app described it as ”feel like 2C”.)

I asked mum for some undergarments (leggings) for my birthday. She’s getting me two pairs so that’s saved me some money. I gave her 3 coupons towards them as she said she’d go halves on coupons. She’s too good to me.
22 coupons left.

Housecoats and pinnies both familiar to me. Did a housecoat button up the front? And a pinny would have straps or ties - I think - but not sure where these fit in?

@Laura_Elsewhere , you are so clever! Great use of fabric, and very 'you'.
I have just finished the 'Diary of a Provincial Lady' books by E M Delafield and have to recommend them - plenty of fascinating material in there, dealing with a period from about 1920 to 1939. I know they are fiction, but I learned a lot, and laughed even more. For a series with relatively little drive and drama, they are truly remarkable for drawing me in so thoroughly.

A beautiful, original dress @Laura_Elsewhere.
I made a low offer on some pretty, vintage pillowcases just for the pleasure of laundering them to remove stains.

They’e beautiful @Nelliegrace . When do you plan to use them?
I can’t believe it’s the end of February! How is everyone doing with their coupons? What are your spending plans? So far, I haven’t seen anything in the spring/summer ranges that appeals to me, but it does look like we’re returning to the styles of the late 1980’s. Shoulders are back and puffed sleeve heads.

Dear heavens, I turn my back for a minute - ok, a couple of weeks in reality, whilst we celebrated Mum's 100th birthday - and you lovely lot have clocked up 180 posts! It may take me a while to catch up… and in the meantime, my sheepskin slippers have "died" & been replaced so I'm 5 coupons down. In the "interregnum" my home-made slippers that I take when travelling did a splendid job of keeping my toes cosy, so I may have to make another pair but better finished this time. Off now to see what's a-happening…

what a fab dress @Laura_Elsewhere ! I think using bed linen for making clothes is a great idea, especially if the bed linen is thrifted. I still need to sort out making some shirts for the OH, from some vintage cotton sheets I picked up from eb&y last year.
February knitting was more miss than hit. I didn't get anymore done on the blanket but did manage to finish another pair of socks for the OH, (WYS Kingfisher). So another 1.5 coupons of yarn out from stash.
I found some vintage gloves & mitten patterns in a charity shop. I haven't attempted knitting either, but as I have odd balls in my stash I think I'll give it a whirl. I have small amounts left over from the WYS yarns so I think I may incorporate some of this as bands of colour instead of fair isle.
I do need to crack on with sorting out my fabric stash and making a start for Goodwood.
