    Wonderful news - I have managed to source exactly one (plain) £2 coin for my pig In All January. By asking that said delicate blossom if he'd change the handsome nugget for a fistful of change & he said yes! It appears he is the coinage using member of the household, so I may just cut a deal with him direct.

    Right, finally got round to sorting my £2 coin pile out - and I had a lovely surprise in that one I had received in my change is quite a rare one!

    In total, £40 has been potted which includes one of the wireless centenary celebrations from 2001 and one of the 200th Anniversary of the first steam locomotive by Richard Trevithick.

    My rare find is a London 2012 Handover to Rio - apparently only 845,000 were minted but they are very much out there ready to be found
