Just been reading about investing in silver , surprised that there’s a 300 million oz shortage of physical silver.
Al these paper notes issued are not worth anything, as there’s nowt in the vaults.
The bullion banks and the boe, are pushing for digital I’d, and digital money. To cover up this price fixing scam.

I'm going to guess the answer to the question in the thread title is no.I also can't imagine why the last generation of silver threads on this forum were banned.9

That all seems highly speculative with some leaps of logic - do you have any credible sources to support those assertions?plumb1_2 said:Just been reading about investing in silver , surprised that there’s a 300 million oz shortage of physical silver.

Would, by any chance, the source of this article be a website that is offering a way to invest in silver?plumb1_2 said:Just been reading about investing in silver , surprised that there’s a 300 million oz shortage of physical silver.
Be quite odd if they were describing this investment "opportunity" as anything other than "very shiny".2 -

And no intentions of buying, rather the opposite actually, part of my pension planA thankyou is payment enough .0 -
The thing is, if anyone knew what was going to happen to the price of any commodity, even a small change, they'd make millions if not billions
The fact remains, "implode" - explode, static, negative, positive, it is pure guesswork as
no one knows what's around the corner.
It's not so much as an investment these days when you put/risk money in stocks/shares/etc, but a gamble.
Indeed, you, anyone can make money as it is the timing that counts, EG, the time you buy and the time you sell.
This is becuse of the old adage, "shares can go up as well as down."
Therefore, timing is the key, rather than guesswork/speculation in the most part.0 -

There is no conspiracy.Contango and backwardation need to be considered when looking at futures markets vs spot.2

"What I've read online" is meaningless in isolation, without citing actual sources that can be assessed for credibility - there are vast swathes of nonsense available online!plumb1_2 said:

Price has gone up as demand peaks on the back of gold price premium. It's happened before. No "shortage" other than it's mined at a fixed rate so short term demand has increased the price.Definitely seems to have been based on a bullion selling site by stating "nowt in the vaults" in some sort of promotion to buy physical bullion.
