Thank you both 😀 it's very forgiving on the arms 🤣 and even though the back is lower than usual ones I get I can happily wear a bra under it without it showing.
We've had more cladding arrivie today to finish the garage off. Also sand for the patio (Whoop). DS1 has booked a van for next weekend for delivery of the garden furniture so I'm hoping the patio is done by then. But DP has taken it upon himself to do all these DIY jobs on his own and I'm wondering if it might be a bit too much..he's also trying to finish his business plan and do a full time job. Last night on the last train home he missed his stop and connection and ended up being over and hour late back as he had to get off at the next stop and turn back. I think it's probably stress and tiredness but he doesn't say it is.
He's outside now watering the garden for me even though I was going to do it (I just needed the hose fixings fixed as I couldn't do it).. I'm worried he's overworking himself.
There was an accident at work on Fri with a student and I asked if it had been logged properly when i was in the workplace just after it had happened and had he been checked out. Even if it was just an, are you okay? It was a pretty nasty accident resulting in cuts and bruises on his face. And I'd been told on Friday, no - but we laughed at him for being such an idiot. I was fuming. Wrote an email to the boss asking if it had been logged and how I felt it was inappropriate to laugh at him and leave it at that. Anyway I had a very curt and short email back - it's been logged. Great thanks was about my reply and I left it at that. Today I've gone in and instead of any sort of apology or admitting perhaps they should have logged it I was met with unprofessionalism again by being utterly ignored by two staff members (senior ones). The boss came in and spoke to me and instead of making up for their basic lack of care on the day he backed up what had happened and the way it had happened. And if he wants a job in a place like this he needs to toughen up kinda attitude. I didn't care too much that they'd laughed it off as student didn't either but they have a duty of care and they also needed to log it. Felt it was super unprofessional and it was a really stressful hour. I came away pretty p**sed off and with a headache. Boss had clearly told the staff I'd moaned and honestly I don't care about that but it's pretty shocking how they run their business. The team are always arguing amongst themselves too which I didn't think was great.... anyway I think it's one to avoid in the future and just do quick visits into because I can't be doing with the stressful ones. I also did four other visits today and managed to get through the day ok. Which is pretty surprising as on the first drive this morning I had warning lights flashing and singing at me in my car 🤦🏻♀️ front tyre pressure had gone down… I've put It back up but suspect a slow puncture. So need to keep an eye on this. As I checked the pressure in all wheels I also noticed a nail stuck in the back one 😑😭 ugh so this might be two new tyres needed!!
Right I best go cook some food, DP has finished watering the garden and greenhouse stuff and he'll help with dinner when he gets in ❤️.
It's Friday tomorrow, woo then a long weekend! Can't wait!

It's Fri-yay! Woop!
I crashed last night. Hit a wall with energy. Or lack of. I'm surprised what I wrote yesterday was anywhere near coherent.
I managed to do the dishwasher around 9 and then went up, nearly cried because I just feel so down with my lack of energy and fell asleep. Struggling to wake with the alarm too. I lasted almost two weeks after the holiday before I hit the wall so that's not too bad. I still have three weeks until my holiday though.
Speaking of holidays DP has spoken to a friend who has a holiday let in Norfolk and we can have it in the summer for cost (still around a grand) but it's right near a beach and water and would be nice to get away. And it's cheaper than the holiday in the sun I wanted.
Today I'm staying in the office for the majority of the day, I feel wobbly, tired and muscle fatigue. I will catch up on paperwork and pop to see one student who is in placement directly across from the college. It means a small walk which will be nice in the sun and also means DP can drop me and collect me and take the car to be checked as the tyre warning is still on after pumping up.
I'm going to a sound bath tomorrow but a little worried about the time as it finishes at 9pm and the drive home is at least 45mins through countryside in the dark. I'm tempted to ask DP very nicely to come along too and perhaps find somewhere to sit and wait (a pub or whatever)...but I'll see how I feel tomorrow.
Meant to be a hot one today, so I'm going in early so I can leave early! Had to drag myself out of bed to be ready on time but I did it 🤣🙈.

Love the dress! Very nice and will be so usable again too.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -
Love a sound bath.

Haha, yes very true @greenbee 🤣 although I was hoping for the Mediterranean beach ⛱️ and heat they get over there 😉😆.
Thanks @Watty1 🥰 and @beanielou me too! I used to go with a friend to these sorts of things but since working full time I find it hard to fit in.
Well I'm at work, although sat in the sun outside currently for my lunch. The car went in this morning and DP has just rung with the cost and problems 😑😩 £345 on two new tyres. The front right is indeed needing to be replaced but so it the front left. The one with the nail in can be repaired apparently. This was all we needed esp with our service/ MOT due only in a few months too. Grrr. Anyway he's okay'd it to be done. Hopefully we will get the car back today but not sure. We've got a long weekend now anyway so if not done today hopefully they can finish it tomorrow.
Feel like I'm making a mistake lowering my hours thus my pay from September as we always seem to be hand to mouth and never able to get ahead. I do have that small EF but as dp has been paid a bonus we will cover the tyres from that. I think we'll be left with a small cc but it is what it is. I've paid my cc off.
Right I best get going back to work. Finish at 4:30 today though so not long left.

generally free time helps with frugal living so there could be savings associated with reduced hours. I have only been to one sound bath. It didn’t do it for me but that may have been something to do with the extremely loud snoring from another attendee.

That's true @in_need_of_direction I am pretty frugal when it comes to batch cooking etc when I have time and energy to do so. And time for selling items on and wouldn't be using the car as much etc.
I finished a little earlier today as I cut my lunch short and took the time back at the end of the day.
I have a hearing aid appointment through so I'm assuming they've accepted me for one! It's end of the month! Also my blood tests are back and the vitamin D tablet I've been taking has worked because that's up to where is should be now. So nothing is abnormal there which is good. So everything points to this postural hypotension then. Need to deal with the stress then and I think we'll be half way to fixing that problem.
It took me over an hour to feed and water the plants in the garden earlier. I can't wait to set the sprinkler up tomorrow then I will just have to move it around every now and then. I have a tonne of cardboard for the beds I want to smother the weeds in...I will try and get on top of some of this over the weekend as we've an awful lot of cardboard piling up. Every time we've had a delivery from freezer to wedding bits to garden stuff I've said -NO! Don't throw that box I need it.....umm.... I didn't realise how much we have 🤣🤣 there is a LOT. So that's an easy win for clearing some rubbish out when I've worked out how much I need.
Car is back. We got home and DP had a speeding ticket 🙈 another one. 36 in a 30 because he was tired and it was 11:30pm at night he said 🙈 he was rushing to get home to bed after a long day out. I did feel for him. The stretch of road is super quiet not even any houses but there is a school....which obvs was shut at that time. But yep, I knew about that camera but it seems he didn't. 🤷🏻♀️ Sigh....I'm hoping this and the tyres is the end of the bad news now. 🤞🏻
I put some lights out on two small trees earlier, solar ones, super cheap but they don't seem to be working yet. Do they need to charge?? I only did it around 5pm maybe I'm being impatient but they are not lit up yet 🤣. I was a little annoyed too because they are tiny little things rather than the big shiny things they looked like online!!! I have to stop falling for this cheap crap online. Seriously 🤦🏻♀️😆

Some solar lights have an on/off you need to slide or press. To check if they are working just put your hand over the Solar panel and that mimics it being night and it should light up
