So it's scare tactics? They cannot enforce this or pursue a ccj? Do these people have any authority to do so?Coupon-mad said:Yes and it's almost always on a small sign at the entrance. If not, Google for it.

I presumed you'd first read the MSE Guide linked at the top of the page, and/or read post 4 of the NEWBIES thread with the pictures of these letters. This isn't anything new.jrs101 said:

The managing agent who I sent a very long well worded email isn't back until 5 Jan.
I also emailed DPO@EUROCARPARKS and have not yet received any reply.
For peace of mind is there anything else at@this point?
Thanks0 -
Nothing to do, just enjoy your Christmas.Come back if/when DCB Legal write to you. Hopefully the managing agent will have sorted it beforehand. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Seconded.
Except please edit your thread title to something suited to your case. Look at other thread titles on this board. The most helpful ones have the name of the PPC and stage the person is at.
'Urgent Help' isn't needed (in fact it can be seen as an unhelpful and annoyingly meaningless thread title - sorry) and it doesn't even say in the tin what it is about or the name of the PPC.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I received this from my email to eurocarparks, please give me your thoughts.

You need to calm down read the information on here and what people are telling you.You are dealing with a private parking company that only makes (vast) profits from making up ways to catch motorists out based on their terms and conditions. They don't get any money from the site other than this, they give their "services" free to the landowner. The so called debt company are in league with them and the scam, the whole process is about an implied contract and sending out scary letters. The PPC will tell you it's gone to debt recovery so they cannot accept any appeal, the debt recovery company have no authority what so ever they just bully and threaten, if you ignore they give up and the PPC then threatens court action. The Small claims court system is then used by them to pressure you more, but as long as you play the right game they usually take it to the wire and withdraw, there is no real threat of a CCJ if you follow the advice on here.In your case; a breakdown, the scamming PPC should have offered a £20 admin fee if appealed and cancelled on that basis according to F.3 C of the Joint COP (oh how generous), but in my opinion in the unlikely event they went to court a Judge would deem an evidenced breakdown as a legitimate point. But why are you worrying about timescales nothing will happen in the short term wait for a reply from the land agent, you are dealing with bottom dwelling halfwits not MI5!6
